The vinyl reissues sound great!! I don't have True Blue on vinyl and my copy of Like A Prayer is scratched quite badly in places so new ones will be cool.

Like A Prayer, although I've gained a whole new appreciation for Vogue since the Superbowl.

It's so generic and uninspired. If you didn't know who it was by and you heard it on the radio it would just merge into everything else currently out there and be completely forgotten ten minutes later. Boring.

Do 'buzz' singles even really exist? I thought they were just products of deluded fans imaginations when their favourite singer's newest single flops (Leona comes to mind here)

I love this album! It's probably my third favourite behind Confessions and Like A Prayer. Nothing Fails and Mother And Father are the stand out tracks for me, although when I first got it in 2005 my fave track was by far Nobody Knows Me. Strangely enough I'm not all too keen on the singles taken on their own, or as part of a compilation, but they just work brilliantly in the context of the album as a whole. It's a great piece of work imo and definitely her most underrated album. Brilliantly produced too.

I think I like Waterline even better than Lipstick, it's catchy as heck and pretty summery. Could do well :)

It'd be cool if they released a 30th anniversary edition of her debut next year. I'm sure there are lots of demos and unreleased tracks they could spruce up and stick on a second disc. And they must have hundreds of rare and unseen photos taken from around that era that they could make a new booklet with.

Most likely nothing, Amazon often list imported versions and sometimes it's the only version they have up for pre-order for quite a while. I don't know why though :blink:

Yes I'm hoping she adds some dates at the 02 or Wembley, maybe for later on in the tour like she did last time. £77 is too much for such a big place like Hyde Park and I don't really fancy standing on my feet all day in the middle of July either!

HMV have this up for pre-order and unfortunately it's just the editions that are already out, stuck in a box. No remastered Like A Prayer :( It is however only £26.99 which, if my calculations are correct, is about £2.45 per album. Me too. I might buy the deluxe version and then when the standard edition is down to about a fiver after a few months on release get that one too.

I don't think you have to know anything about pop music to tell that wasn't live! There was no attempt at making those vocals sound like a live performance at all :unsure:

The spectacle was amazing, Vogue was a lot of fun. But the lip synching was awful! I wasn't expecting her to sing live but it was so mixed and tweaked that it just sounded ridiculous. Glad she sung Like A prayer though.

Like A Prayer, as it's my all time favourite Madge song (so I really hope she does do it!) but also GMAYL as it's the first ever performance and I'm excited to see what she does with it. I wish she was doing Hung Up though.

Ah, the DJ on Capital FM said they'd playing a megamix of some tracks from MDNA so I assume that will be it. Not sure what to think of the other two tracks, bit hard to form an opinion from such short snippets.
