Awesome, I can't wait to see it in HD! It's such a classic music documentary that really caught her at her peak. Hopefully it'll get a release over here too :) And did they really say "2012 is destined to be the year of Madge" in their official press release :rofl:

Strangely enough the first CD my family ever had was the Don't Cry For Me Argentina single, when we got our first CD player. When was that, like 1996 or something? We were only a bloody decade late! :lol:

I grew up watching A League Of Their Own, I remember it being on Sky Movies and we'd watch it ALL the time, so TUTBMP really brings back memories of being a kid for me. It's a nice and very underrated song from a nice and very underrated movie!

I wasn't expecting artwork just yet! I like it, it's not her best album cover but it's so much better than that Hard Candy abomination! The colours are pretty cool.

I know it is, and I've given up on rebuying stuff for collection purposes. If I hadn't I would've had about 50 copies of MJ's Thriller by now lol.

The chances of them releasing any new and unreleased stuff is slim, for some reason record companies prefer to keep re-releasing the same old crap everybody's already got rather than put out something nobody has and the fans would lap up. Sony are the worst at this!

This is interesting, WB have never really milked her back catalogue so it's weird to see them beginning to rerelease her stuff now that she's no longer with them. If Like A Prayer's remastered let's hope there's individual releases too! I'll buy the set if there's unreleased tracks and stuff but if not there's no point. I'd love packaging like the recent The Smiths boxset, all the albums were remastered and packaged in replica's of the original vinyl artwork. It's really neat and it was affordable too, only £30 for 8 albums. But then there weren't any new or extra tracks.

Well that's the thing it's not like english football where each half is 90 minutes and they play it straight through, you have to get through two 15 minute quarters but it stops and starts....each quarter can easily be double that time. A game can go on for ages! So there's really no way to know when she'll be on.

Oh gosh I can't remember, but I'm pretty certain it wasn't before 1am :thinking: I could be wrong though....like I said I wasn't interested so I didn't pay any attention to the time. I'm guessing sometime between 1.30 and 2ish, but don't quote me on that.

Yes, I follow American Football and watch the Super Bowl every year anyway so for me this is really an added bonus. Last year I used BEP's performance to take a toilet break and prepare more snacks!

That's a load of crap! It's a classic album, one of the biggest selling of all time. Just because there's an updated collection out now doesn't mean it's any less important or enjoyable as it was before.

Why does she have to do things like this? She tries to cater to a younger audience but it just comes across as desperate. She can carry an album/single/Superbowl performance on her own name, she's been doing it for 30 years now!!

Is it true he was a fan? Cus if so, then I don't agree that he did. He probably just couldn't wait to hear and share her new music, just like all those of us who downloaded it couldn't. If he deserved it then so do we.
