This feels really similar to how we were under Brendan Rogers  Getting rid of Ten Haag means any new manager is left with a lot of rubbish. I actually thought you played quite well in the first half - De Ligt read the game really well and we made some mistakes, I think the difference was we made much better use of sloppy balls. So many players lost their heads completely after the second goal - but that said not sure too much can be read in to this. There's signs of something, but just not sure the structure Ten Haag is using really suits the players.

I wrote to my MP yesterday, like you say, this is probably the perfect time. Just annoys me that people desperate to pay are forced in to paying double the price for exactly the same product. I suspect dynamic pricing will only become more prevelant too.

The Eras tour had something similar, but the dynamic seating was replaced with something else. Personally. I'd suggest everyome write to their local MP, suspect the only way this can or may stop is with some form of legislation. The artists/promoters defintely sign this off themselves as it's connected to the agreement. Agreed RE the pre-codes though. With Ticketmaster it was a complete farce, I suspect a good percentage of tickets were sold in the pre-sale and on Saturday who knows! I got through on See Tickets through complete chance when it randomly let me through.

Oasis and their team signed off dynamic pricing. Coldplay and Springsteen did the same too - frankly I find it disgusting. These acts are quick to call out touts but will allow themselves to rip off their fans! I feel this will never stop though without any goverment intervention

Keep checking still, I'm convinced there's still tickets available due to the server issues sites have had. Plus the dynamic pricing will slow down (although I know a few people who caved and bought at that price).

Guys try this.. https://www.gigsandtours.com/search?q=oasis...;dst=&dend= I just got through to Heaton Park and could get Wembley seated tickets too! Kicked me out again now, but got 4 for Heaton Park on the 16th

Seen a few people here and there get tickets this morning, but on the most looks like there's loads available still. Other sites are completely down and see about 10 tickets sold across other forums/Twitter on these places so I reckon there's hope yet!

Think he'd have been on the bench at Bournemouth now they've signed Kepa on loan too

Same no pre sale code here, amongst the 12 people I know going for tickets! Hoping they announce a couple of extra dates tomorrow.. not sure they will but clearly the demand is there. Already wound me up with people who have no interest whatsoever getting tickets for it.

Genuionely love how the Chelsea ownership are trying to turn this in to a franchise sport  Can be their own strategy surely.

Not against this in practice as lots of people already do this in my company, but it really does need to be either everyone does it or nobody does it. Trying to get things done on a Friday or Monday is almost impossible, especially if it's something critical.

Champions League 24/25
Think Liverpool have probably got the rougher end of the draw out of the English teams, but should be qualifying in the top 24 either way. You'd like to think we'd finish in the Top 8 too, but likely depends on getting the points you're expected to and beating one of Madris/Leverkusen at home.

Not really sure it will have that much affect, but clearly it's aimed at reducing smokers & linked to the health strategy. Pubs defintely are not going to be shutting in their droves cos smoking is banned in beer gardens. It does seem excessive, but I do see the benefits too.

Oasis
Exactly, it’s a huge cultural event. Although I’d argue most people in the country know at least one Oasis song. Oasis were never the best band musically, certainly when you think about The Who, Rolling Stones etc. but their cultural impact is massive. They represented the mad culture of the 90s, probably highly responsible for try ensuing lad culture that developed too. Of course there’s days Noel is a full blown Tory and Liam is a massive twat, but Liam’s always been like that and I think that’s what’s always been fun about the band.

That’s a myth. He had an ACL but he’s only missed days/weeks away from that. Always a risk with ACL injuries but usually takes a good 18 months before they’re anywhere near the same level previously.

Well put DB, your latter statement is my worry too. I feel Starmer's Labour are banking on things looking better in 3-4 years time, but who knows what the polls may say by then. Undoubtedly populism is coming for us fuelled by Reform and depending on what path the Tories take, who knows. I think we can take positives over how quickly the far-right were shut down despite making a large impact on social media, but I know many people can be influenced in to voting for an alternative because of some soundbites and Facebook advertising. Would like to think the Labour strategiests are thinking well ahead of this, but whether tit ends up convincing the elctorate is another matter.

Linkin Park - From Zero
The last rumours a few days ago were the Sum 41 singer was going to join the band replacing Chester. I think he's about as similar vocalist to Chester as there is, but just not sure you can replace Chester. Mind you, Queen did it with Freddie.

Sounds like he's on about 100k. Agree that I'm not sure he's what we need.. can only assume we plan to play 4 attackers in games where we're expected to dominate the ball. Seems like an amazing deal, but think we're lightly stacked in the midfield and ultimately this is where I think we'll fall short, especially in the head to heads vs City & Arsenal.

Think Ugarte will do OK, there's a reason PSG are getting rid of him already though (and that's cos he's fairly pish on the ball). The Sancho for Sterling deal would have to go down as one of the most stupidest deals of all time as well. That's a proper accountancy transfer that ends up kicking the can down the road for another couple of years.

Most likely the Corbyn fanistas. I think some of the criticism is fair and valid, the Governent have got to be held to account but I think the decisions they are making at the moment are largely sensible.

Agreed the public sectors pay increases are the right thing to do, obviously costly but will boost productivity & the economy. I agree with others who speculated the 2nd NI cut was a trap set by the Tories for Labour. Think a small tax rise is the easiest way but it's not gonna happen and I totally get why. Seems they're going to go after capital gains, inhertitance and who knows maybe businesses too. The budget is obviously going to be terrible, be interesting to see what choices are made.

Is giving public services pay increases part of austerity? I think it’s right people are annoyed, however not really sure what else can be done. Does feel like some difficult choices need to be made and while I feel a tax rise is the most logical choice, it’s walking in to a Tory trap so they will be around it. Still feel if they’ve got to make some tough choices, now is the time to do it. The economic data at the moment is largely promising so that’s something but certainly with the volatility in the energy market, does feel like it’s going to be a difficult 12 months.

Oasis
I reckon more likely they just bring Bonehead out for the encore at the end or a few songs. He’ll deffo be a part but does sound very much like it’s just Noel’s band and Liam. Sounds like half the country will be trying for tickets! Going to be a struggle and the touts/bots will be out in full force too. Fingers crossed the extra dates come out fairly quickly.

Oasis
Always a possibility but the money is gonna be too good I think. Sounds like they’ve softened towards each other and it was always Noel who wouldn’t get back. Liam would have done it ages ago given the chance.
