Not what I was expecting with a flurry of former number 1s scattered throughout.

Black Magic this week became the 1296th UK number 1 of all time so we only have four more chart toppers until we know who achieves the 1300th. Early contenders include Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor's collaboration along with Sarah Harding's solo debut available for release in the week of the earliest opportunity, Jess Glynne has her new one out the following week assuming the milestone hasn't happened by then.
  5. I think the all time leaderboard would look better in a bigger font size as there aren't that many entries needed.
  6. Miffed about the Chemical Brothers' denial.
  7. She's Kinda Hot now dark red!
  8. This week's changes Gains 34) 42 Kygo - Firestone 35) 41 Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud 37) 45 Natalie La Rose - Somebody 39) 46 Hozier - Take Me To Church 40) 47 Carly Rae Jepsen - I Really Like You Losses 47) 27 The Score - Oh My Love 53) 36 Chemical Brothers - Go 55) 34 Bring Me The Horizon - Happy Song 58) 39 Nathan Sykes - Kiss Me Quick 70) 40 Brandon Flowers - I Can't Change
  9. Nasty Freestyle can now be added to the OP as there's no chance now of re-peaking.

Too early to tell but the only amendment it needs is for all new entries to be played.
  11. No changes at all this week so there is definetly something fishy.
  12. 23 - Black Magic
  13. Bre, just want to remind you that the OP changes are now four months behind.
  14. Last ever new iTunes thread on a Saturday night!
  15. Is it true that streaming data will be included in the itunes chart in due course rather than having it's own chart?
  16. Same Jeans by The View and Tequila by Terrorvision sound totally different to the rest of their respective back catalogues.
  17. Basically whoever stands in for Greg's normal shows that week will by default stand in for the top 40 so I expect Dev will become the regular chart cover.
  18. That's us now in the last ever Sunday to Saturday chart week!
  19. Out of this week's chart, this is what would likely be played in the 21-40 bracket under the new format. (22) Ed Sheeran - Photograph (new peak) (29) Rudimental - Never Let You Go (new peak) (34) The Weeknd - Can't Feel My Face (New Entry) (38) Kygo - Stole The Show (New Entry) (39) Flo Rida feat. Sage The Gemini - GDFR (Re-entry)

Deorro and Chris Brown are the first acts to be number 1 on sales but not top three combined!
  21. Will the 4:30 and 5pm Newsbeats be ditched during the new slot?
  22. Tinie and Jess 17
  23. When Radio 1 moves the top 40 to Fridays as of next month, the shorter slot that will go with it will mean they will only have time to play a select number of entries in the lower bracket alongside the full top 20 but which method do you prefer? I think the concept of playing all forty entries is now old hat considering the impact of streaming has seen several long runners in the lower end although it did work back in the 90s and early 2000s when you would regularly get 15-20 new entries.
  24. Bre, In case you have forgotten, the OP hasn't been updated since March.
  25. If iTunes cease downloads, will this mean the OCC will no longer publish the sales chart?
