A playlist cock up resulted in no play for Blame It On Me at number 41 as George Ezra had already been played with his new single earlier on the programme, instead for the very first time the number 42 record was played instead so no inclusion for Blame It On Me.

Five months since Take Me To Church first entered the top 40 and it's steady climb to number 2 along with continued airplay has given it a chance to potentially become an all time top 40 long runner. Music festivals and the X Factor auditions could help it make an unbroken top 40 year so do you think it will stick around for this long?

I can see this being the first ever entry to complete an unbroken year in the top 40. I think it will be out in July but back when the X Factor inevitably features it.
