After 5 years of being a fan, I finally saw Anastacia live in concert! And I tell you, that voice blew me away! http://www.bwboard.net/Smileys/smil/omg.gif There's no words to describe how powerful it is! Its hard to understand why she sometimes gives such poor tv performances, but then sings for two hours in a concert and sounds absolutely perfect! I'd be lying if I said that this show is better then LAL though. This tour is a smaller production and I was amazed by how tiny the stage is! It looks as if it came out from the playmobil world! Lol. But once she's on it doing her thing, it looks like heaven! http://www.bwboard.net/Smileys/smil/wub.gif Too bad the venue was not packed!! And to think that in 2004 she filled the same place with more than 16000 people... http://www.bwboard.net/Smileys/smil/sad.gif She called a little boy and his father on stage. The little boy was so scared!! lol And apparently they were from New York.. She also sang We Are Fanily which was great. The clear standouts were obviously the biggest hits such as Sick And Tired, Paid My Dues and I Belong To You. After she left the stage for the second time and said goodbye, the audienced effusively asked for the encore. The finale is something out of this world! People went crazy! Even the quieter ones were dancing like nuts! lol Its impossible not to, right? There was some kind of malfunction though and Anastacia threw her In-ear monitor away during Heavy Rotation. She kept on singing and dancing but by the time IOL started she kind of got lost, did not sing the first verse and said "I can't hear"... But fans in the front row helped her and she was able to finished the song... The IOL playback was kind weird too... LOA was just brilliand and the perfect way to end the show!! One thing that bugged me was the fact that, from the place I was, I could not see her facial expressions. And you know they are always priceless! Now that its all over I cannot help but feel sad, not knowing how long it will take for me to see her again! http://www.bwboard.net/Smileys/smil/cry.gif
