"In Your Shoes"
Without wishing to offend any of her fans but the biggest problem I think is her target audience. Since Who I Am onwards she has mainly appealed to the middle England, middle aged type audience and they're not exactly the most teccy type of people, she's probably lost loads sales due to the fact that she has gone down the digital only route. Even though I'm extremely happy for her that she has gone down the independant route, I'm not so sure that she has the resources to do this. EMI were able to provide her with a much bigger platform to promote (even though they never did nearly enough) but they did twice as much as she has been able to do independantly. I hate EMI anyway so I'm glad she's no longer with them regardless. That sounds a bit selfish though.

"100%" [Sixth Album Discussion]
Did anyone know that 100% is being released in Germany on the 4th December? This German site does an extremely positive review of Beverley, 100% and sums up her career better than any other review i've read (translated version) http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl...knight%26sa%3DN It says it is being released via Hurricane Records/Warner Music ...?

Beverley Knight - Collection
I know, it's annoying enough when showbiz and news websites get it wrong but her old label of 10 years? Wouldn't have been so bad if it was inside the booklet but it's right on the back. Muppets

'Made It Back' TNT 12" Mix
YES, that is the one I have been looking for!!!! That's great, I'm gonna grab that CD when I get the chance to go with all the other C-Swing mixes I have. Made It Back, Rewind, Get Up, and I think I have a C-swing mix of Greatest Day. Aaron, I'll send you a pm to your inbox

Bev Concert DVD
Yeah the quality is good. It isn't footage from the crowd, its proper footage from the filming crew that were there. For some reason it was never released or broadcast though, it somehow made it's way on to a forum some years ago which doesn't exist anymore.

Beverley Knight - Collection
Was in the record store a few weeks ago to replace Music City Soul but they didn't have it, all they had was 100% and this so I begrudgingly bought a copy. It does have a great Biography in the booklet but the tracklist is so odd. Funny how on the back they spell her name 'Beverly' ... lol

Bev Concert DVD
Does anyone want a copy? She did a concert back in 2002 at the MCM Cafe in Paris which I have the video footage for and not a single person I have spoken to has it. Seems such a shame for this video footage to be wasted on one fan. I'm currently on the laptop so haven't got the tracklist on me but it goes something like Whatever's Clever Made It Back Sista Sista Greatest Day I Feel For You Shoulda Woulda Coulda Flavour Of The Old School Gold Get Up

'Made It Back' TNT 12" Mix
Yeah I love that version too! Aaron, do you only have the 7" mix then? I definitely have the 12" mix on vinyl and I'm pretty sure I have a digital copy of it too, I'll check for you. They made so many remixes of the releases from Prodigal Sista, I have about 9 remixes of Made It Back plus an instrumental & acapella. I'm eager to get my hands on the C-Swing mixes though. I have the C-Swing mix of Made It Back and the C-Swing mix of Rewind (find A Way) but can't find the C-Swing mix of A.W.O.L. anywhere!! I know someone on the BK Fansite who has it but they won't share it, which isn't surprising. You'd have more luck trying get blood from a stone than you would getting someone on that site to share anything. They're such a precious bunch... Any other remixes you're looking for Aaron? I have GBs of them on my computer, hundreds of 'em.

"In Your Shoes"
God, that performance was so boring! Glad I didn't go to the album launch now coz I probably would have left after 20 minutes anyway if it was as boring and non eventful as that. The material on this album is seriously the biggest load of sh*t she's ever tried to push forward. Why cant she just be true to her voice and give up on this light-weight, vacuous pop. She has some of the fiercest, slickest, soul, funk and R&B vocals & vibes to grace these shores yet she insists on pushing ahead with this sub-standard pop. Beverley Knight trying to do pop is like Britney Spears trying to do soul...

"Beautiful Night"
I suppose #71 isn't too bad considering the whole promo from this revolves around 1 tv appearance... Oh and the odd play here and there on Smooth FM. Without the internet, this era is just a massive black hole.

"100%" [Sixth Album Discussion]
A few people have said that so I've tried to make myself like it but the more I listen to it, the more I dislike it. Her voice on the chorus is overbearing and quite annoying. Just trying to think of who would like it (non bev fans) and I honestly can't imagine anyone singing along to it. Far too camp for any male and a bit high school musical and uncool for most girls. Unless she wants to tap into Same Difference's fan base :puke2:

What Bev Song Are You Listening To
Gold Chain Just getting used to this one now, it has bags of swagger about it, quite interesting arrangement and directions within the song. Not typical boring ballad with predictable verse/chorus/middle 8/chorus to fade (or key change every other chorus to fade) -.- Coming up next - Soul Survivor :D

"100%" [Sixth Album Discussion]
Apparently the third single is going to be Turned To Stone...??? That, along with Painted Pony are the worst 2 songs on this album. Turned To Stone sounds like one of those totally average songs for a totally average singer. Every time I hear it, I can't help but think it should have been a song by someone like S Club 7 for High School Musical. Utter Dirge! And Painted Pony, well that's exactly what it is, sh*t dressed up as a song.

"100%" [Sixth Album Discussion]
I think she has had so many years of disappointment now that she is just happy to make good music and make a decent living out of it. As she said herself - when it's record companies it's all about rearranging tracks to suit them and shifting 'units'. Wth her own label it's about making music she likes and selling a creative work, , not 'shifting x amount of units'

Album Showcase at the ICA [03.09.09]
I know, I woke up with the idea that I was going but the closer it got I kept thinking ''Oh man I can't be arsed to travel all that distance by public transport and again on the way back'' plus my neutrality for the album went against the decision for me to go too. I know, from the video it seems to be very much like the gig she did at the MCM cafe in paris - a hundred or so people there with no barrier or anything.
