I can't believe that the Rap version of SYBT was already in our hand, in the VHS for so long time.

For this fourth single from the album, I’m giving this duet a 7/10.

I already liked the album version a lot, but as a duet, it adds beautiful harmonies that elevate the song.

Thomas Rhett has teamed up with rising singer-songwriter Lanie Gardner for a fresh duet version of his song, “What Could Go Right.” This collaboration offering fans a new take on a track that originally appeared on Rhett’s 2024 album, About A Woman.

“What Could Go Right” delves into the complexities of transitioning from friendship to romance, capturing the emotions of taking that leap of faith in a relationship. The original version was inspired by Rhett’s own experiences with his wife, Lauren Akins, reflecting the early stages of their relationship. 

Lanie Gardner, recognized as part of CMT’s Next Women of Country Class of 2025, brings a fresh perspective to the song. Her vocals harmonize seamlessly with Rhett’s, adding depth to the narrative of the duet. Gardner expressed her excitement about the collaboration, stating on social media, “I freakin’ love Thomas Rhett and his music so… it’s pretty dang cool to be a part of this.” 

I’m giving this track a 5/10.

The song is nice, and so are the vocals, but the production is far too basic. It really lacks something to make it more spectacular. Overall, it feels too formulaic.

I’m giving this beautiful ballad a 6/10.

I love the message of the song, and the two voices blend together perfectly. It’s very radio-friendly, and I hope it does well on country radio in the U.S.

A Song About Love and Letting Go

Gary Barlow first began writing the song in his London studio, drawing inspiration from a close friend’s experience with a breakup that wasn’t filled with resentment, but rather mutual respect and gratitude. Realizing the depth of the song’s theme, Barlow teamed up with Colbie Caillat and Gavin DeGraw to complete the lyrics and melody, ultimately shaping it into a country-pop ballad.

Caillat shared her excitement about the collaboration, expressing how the song resonates deeply with her. “I’ve experienced relationships that ended not with heartbreak, but with appreciation for what we shared. This song perfectly captures that sentiment. Working with Gary was a dream, and our voices blended so naturally on this track.”

I've listened to all of Niall's albums - his music fits my taste better. As for the other four, i've only listened the singles they released. Oh, and i did try Harry's first album, but it was awful.

⭐ I give this cover of an iconic track an 8/10.

At first, I thought, “Oh no, not another failed acoustic version of a song that was so much better back in the day.” But I have to admit, this new version is really pleasant to listen to. Even though I’ve never really connected with Ryan’s more recent projects, this cover is a nice surprise and well-executed.

Ryan Cabrera has reimagined his 2004 hit single "On the Way Down" to celebrate it's 20th anniversary. This new version features collaborations with several prominent artists, including AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys, Joey Fatone of NSYNC, Taylor Hanson of Hanson, Drake Bell, Nicholas Petricca of Walk the Moon, and Nash Overstreet of Hot Chelle Rae.
