Ella Henderson feat. Breland - One Door Closes
I’m giving this track a 5/10. The song is nice, and so are the vocals, but the production is far too basic. It really lacks something to make it more spectacular. Overall, it feels too formulaic.

Gary Barlow & Colbie Caillat - If There's Not a Song About It
I’m giving this beautiful ballad a 6/10. I love the message of the song, and the two voices blend together perfectly. It’s very radio-friendly, and I hope it does well on country radio in the U.S.

Jonas Brothers - Love Me To Heaven
I’m giving this new track a solid 7/10. The rhythm is great, and it’s super dynamic—perfect for getting the heart rate up or for a road trip. I might even add it to my RPM session tonight!

Gary Barlow & Colbie Caillat - If There's Not a Song About It
Gary Barlow and Colbie Caillat have joined forces for a heartfelt new single, “If There’s Not a Song About It.” The track blends Barlow’s signature pop-ballad style with Caillat’s warm, country-infused vocals, creating an emotional yet uplifting song about parting ways on good terms. A Song About Love and Letting Go Gary Barlow first began writing the song in his London studio, drawing inspiration from a close friend’s experience with a breakup that wasn’t filled with resentment, but rather mutual respect and gratitude. Realizing the depth of the song’s theme, Barlow teamed up with Colbie Caillat and Gavin DeGraw to complete the lyrics and melody, ultimately shaping it into a country-pop ballad. Caillat shared her excitement about the collaboration, expressing how the song resonates deeply with her. “I’ve experienced relationships that ended not with heartbreak, but with appreciation for what we shared. This song perfectly captures that sentiment. Working with Gary was a dream, and our voices blended so naturally on this track.” “If There’s Not a Song About It” marks the first single from Barlow’s upcoming EP, set to be released later this year. The project is expected to showcase Barlow’s evolution as a songwriter, exploring a variety of emotions and musical influences.

How many solo albums have you heard?
I've listened to all of Niall's albums - his music fits my taste better. As for the other four, i've only listened the singles they released. Oh, and i did try Harry's first album, but it was awful.

Ryan Cabrera - On the Way Down
⭐ I give this cover of an iconic track an 8/10. At first, I thought, “Oh no, not another failed acoustic version of a song that was so much better back in the day.” But I have to admit, this new version is really pleasant to listen to. Even though I’ve never really connected with Ryan’s more recent projects, this cover is a nice surprise and well-executed.

Marshmello & Jonas Brothers - Slow Motion
⭐ I give this track a 6/10. It'slistenable, but it doesn't give me chills. It's a bit of an easy sound, lacking in magic and creativity.
-
Mumford & Sons - RUSHMERE
⭐ I give Rushmere a 4.5/10. Honestly, I’m forcing myself to listen to it because I’ve bought tickets to see them in concert in Paris next November. But this track doesn’t excite me. ⭐ As for Malibu, I give it a 2.5/10. It’s listenable, but it’s definitely not the kind of music I want to hear. To me, it feels like a waste of time, as the track feels way too long.

Ingrid Andress - Footprints
⭐ For now, I’m giving this new track a 5/10. The lyrics are captivating, as is often the case with her songs, but the melody lacks a bit of impact for my taste. That might change with a live version, if I get the chance to see her in concert again. However, the country sounds are truly beautiful.

Bryan Adams - Roll With The Punches
⭐ I give this new Bryan Adams track a 7.5/10. It’s been a long time since one of his songs really caught my attention—the last one being One World, One Flame in 2010. This track is dynamic, filled with great energy, and his voice fits it perfectly. No surprise it made the A-List on BBC Radio 2!
-
Pete Murray - I Am Fire
⭐ I give this new single by Pete Murray an 8.5/10. The sound and tempo are very smooth, perfectly complementing his voice. The choruses stay in the same vibe, with the addition of harmonies reminiscent of his song Take Me Down. A great addition to his discography—both cohesive and refreshing.

Proposal for a New Forum Section
It’s not just about sharing your Spotify playlist on the forum, but more of a brainstorming approach. Here are some topic ideas: • I have the beginning of an acoustic playlist with Mumford & Sons and George Ezra, and I’m looking for similar tracks to complete it. • Let’s create a playlist of the best remixes of 2024. • Let’s share our lists of songs that include trumpets.

Melanie C - 'Reason'
If On The Horizon had been sush a good song, it would have been a hit even after its release as a single. The song wasn't charismatic enough to excite the crowds.
