Katie Price - 'Free To Love Again' chart predictions
#40. Awful, hideous excuse of a song and you can so hear her bad vocals all the way through. Terrible.
-
Predict: The Wanted - All Time Low
It's a decent song and the lead singer (shaven head chap) is very tasty ;) That aside, I am probably going to stick my neck on the line and say #44. I can't see it being a hit sadly :(

iTunes Chart: July 2010
Oh God that awful JLS single set for #1 :( Thanks very much indeed teenage girls, sad women/men and themselves buying a few copies. 2010 has been the worst year for number ones. Why have Lady Gaga and Kylie had to miss out thanks to a load of rubbish beating them?
-
Short period #1's
Well she was responsible for the worst summer ever when she was #1. Funny how when she was knocked off the top, the weather picked up :D
-
iTunes Thread: June 2010 (V)

Oh My Flop !!!! Potential Big Hits That Flopped Big Time!!!
Shakira's "Pikey" deserved to flop. Beverly Knight - "Beautiful Night" - gorgeous ballad, but missed the top 75 :( The Feeling - "Join with us" - Was used in a car ad and made something like #82 :( Shame, as this had potential. Lost Prophets - "Where we belong", "Shinobi Dragon Ninja" and "For he's a Jolly Good Fellon" Kristian Leontinou - "Some Say" - This had potential to be a top 20 hit. Pink - "I don't belive you" - Had hit potential.
-
Oh My Flop !!!! Potential Big Hits That Flopped Big Time!!!
Mini Viva deserved to flop with that hideous excuse of a song. Agnes deserved a consecutive run of top 10s. Beyonce - Broken Hearted Girl Sabrina Washington - OMG - Why did this flop?!?! This was the perfect pop tune! The Killers - This Is The World That We Live In - This was top 10 in NL, but flopped miserably here :( Nerina Pallot - Real Late Starter - Missed the chart completly :( La Roux - I'm Not Your Toy/Quicksand - Should have done better. Frankmusik - Better Off As Two - Should have been a top 10er Alphabeat - DJ - Why did this fail :(

Albums where only ONE or even NO singles were taken off?
Any albums where only One or No singles were released? I have Westlife's recent album "Where we are" which spanned only one single which was "What about now" in late 2009. Another one I can think of is "Today" of Mel B's awful "LA State of Mind" album. Any other examples?

iTunes Thread // April I
Thats the spirit maarb :) Also, slander the competition :D I'll start Joshua Radin eats puppies ;)
-
iTunes Thread // April I
I feel really bad for Sabrina as well. It's such a great catchy song, and she's got a fantastic voice. I guess if this was sang by Rihanna or Beyonce it'd be top 3 automatically :( I am not happy with that Joshua Radin being top 20. What is the fascination with douchebags with quitars? It's a forgettable dirge and smells of "I'm Yours" the 2010 version! If you want emotion, by a big powerful ballad.

Germany 2010
If the BBC doesn't want to do Eurovision, why not give it to Channel 4. Plus if it costs too much, why do we have to pay a TV licence. Where is this money going? I am sure we'd have the same format as the German pre-selection this year on CH4. Now that would be something :cheer:

All 2010 X-Factor Finalists to be released on downloads
If this did become true, I think the singles chart in the UK would die, and anyone wanting to get into the industry or wanting a break would probably have the backing of their record industry and you would see a "rebel" chart set up.

What's the best selling singles never to make the top 40, 75
Whoah! The thing is, who can manage to remember all six minutes of that "song"?
-
What's the best selling singles never to make the top 40, 75
What's the best selling singles never to make the official 40. I would be very interested to know this, and how much they sold as well.
-
Songs that shouldn't have reached the top 10.
The most undeserving (In a compressed list): Fatman Scoop - "Be Faithful" - I belive this was disputed when it reached #1, as it was almost chanceless by the Friday but an unusual high amount of sales on the Saturday got to #1. I still belive that was an elaborate rig. The X-Factor winner songs (Except 05 and 06) + the two charity singles - We all know people are like sheep, and Cowell manipulates the charts. Any of JLS singles - Pop at it's blandest. Tiny Tempah - Chav power is still alive.... 3 of a kind - "Baby cakes" - The most chavviest #1 ever. Jessica Simpsons rape of "These boots are made for walking" - we all know she'd be a hardcore porner if she wasn't famous. Rihanna - "Umbrella" - thanks for ruining summer 2007. That Eamon and Frankie nonsense.

Singles Chart six years ago this week....
My opinion: 01. Usher - Yeah! - Not bad 02. DJ Casper - Cha Cha Slide - HATE!! :puke2: 03. Anastacia - Left Outside Alone - Why wasnt this number one? It was all over Europe, but typical us Brits ignore it :( 04. Blue - Breathe Easy - Decent song by them. 05. The Darkness - Love Is Only A Feeling - Great rock ballad :) 06. Britney Spears - Toxic - 07. Outkast - The Way You Move - Slow burner of a song...nothing special. 08. Sugababes - In The Middle - It's catchy, but too American. 09. Kanye West - Through The Wire - The first signs of this guy. No thank you. 10. NERD - She Wants To Move - Nah. 11. Will Young - Your Game - Good song, not as strong as the proceeding and succeding singles from the album. 12. Jamelia - Thank You - I only know the title in this song. OK-ish. 13. Jennifer Lopez - Baby I Love U - Pass the puke bucket. Over-sentimental crap. :puke2: 14. Enrique featuring Kelis - Not In Love - Good song, their voices work well together. 15. Peter Andre - Mysterious Girl {2004} - No! 16. The Black Eyed Peas - Hey Mama - I like this. One of their best :) 17. Fountains Of Wayne - Stacy's Mom - NO! Plus it rips off another song. 18. Beenie Man - Dude - :puke2: 19. Kylie Minogue - Red Blooded Woman - Or as I used to call it "Red Blooded Tampax". Not her best, more of a Vicki Beckham reject. 20. George Michael - Amazing - Good dance tune :) 21. The Delays - Nearer Than Heaven - Don't know it. 22. Missy Elliott - I'm Really Hot - No you are not Missy. 23. Nelly Furtado - Try - Don't remember. Wasn't this in Nelly's ethno phase? 24. Blink 182 - I Miss You - Gosh the accent and voices grate on this. I know my regions accent is much criticised, but this is pain. Awful song too. 25. The Divine Comedy - Come Home Billy Bird - Don't know it. 26. Keane - Somewhere Only We Know - Somewhat overplayed classic. 27. LMC Vs U2 - Take Me to the Clouds Above - That woman can sing, but she needed more of the song to show her range, not just five lines. 28. Travis - Love Will Come Through - Don't know it. 29. Boogie Pimps - Somebody to Love - Rape of a classic. Video was twisted. 30. Kelis - Milkshake - Family Guy has now tainted this in a good way ;) Good catchy song though. 31. Jamie Cullum - These Are The Days/Frontin' - Better version of "Frontin" than Pharell's whining and moaning. 32. Marques Houston - Clubbin - Don't know it. 33. Katie Melua - The Closest Thing to Crazy - Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Perhaps this woman has now put herself in a coma listening to her music. 34. Westlife - Obvious - Bland, dull. 35. Busted - Who's David - :puke2: 36. 50 Cent & G Unit - If I Can't/Them Thangs - :puke2: 37. VS - Love You Like Mad - Marvin from JLS's first foray into the music business. If only JLS got those chart positions ;) Not a fan of the song though. 38. Fya Featuring Smujji - Must Be Love - Dont know it. 39. No Doubt - It's My Life/Bathwater - Great cover :D 40. Phixx - Love Revolution - Why weren't these guys big? Great songs, even if the videos were a bit like gay bondage porn. Nice looking lads too. Some noticeable ones out of the top 40: 42. Katie Melua - Call Off The Search - Zzzzzzzzzzz 47. Deepest Blue - Give It Away - Strong dance number, though I liked how their two follow-up singles and album was more rock/indie. Tasty lead singer too ;) 48. Alistair Griffin - You And Me (Tonight) - He was adorable. This was a nice ballad. 51. The Killers - Somebody Told Me - CLASSIC! 71. Raghav - Can't Get Enough - Boring reggae/urban number. He could NOT dance! 72. Sean Paul - I'm Still In Love With You - No thank you. 73. Sam and Mark - With A Little Help From My Friends/Measure Of A Man - Awful cover.......but the second track was surprisingly good! 74. Snow Patrol - Run - CLASSIC Better than Leona's version with ease.
