  1. Who are these faceless people behind the fake versions?
  2. I won't say the rude word that rhymes with "fit" which I thought it was called! But that was an abortion of a song. "All Hooked Up", I can take but it's not all that. Ever heard Silver Shadow with the original girl Simone - why wasn't this huge!: nuDLY_xIVbk and check THIS rarity: bmM78wSYwjs

    Amen!
  4. "War of Nerves"....gorgeous song. I bought the single to this and was sad it didn't do well. Much better than the lame Bootie Call. Their underrated songs were better than the ones which were hits. En Vogue were THE girl band....gorgeous girls, great songs and voices. Perfection  "Bye Bye Bye" great boyband song....Justin is still f***able even today :w00t:  "Mandy" - ewwww, I went off Westlife at the point. I remember it winning Record of The Year the week it was released. Me thinks the televotes were rigged.....the same happened with "You Raise Me Up"....no wonder it's an internet voting competition now. I don't even remember that Color Me Badd song....none of them were exactly lookers weren't they? I always think of that puke-inducing "I Wanna Sex You Up" :puke2:

Jack Your Body by Steve Silk Hurley sticks out from 1987.....can anyone remember this who was around at that time? mQcg-dRg5h4 I know there is obvious reasons behind this....but aside from "Do You Wanna Be In My Gang", "Rock N Roll" and "Rock N Roll Christmas", Gary Glitter's "Always Yours" isn't that memorable unless you're big into 70s music and around that time: -OQ-LT7MQ_I
  6. My bad....but you'd have thought they'd have got a top 3 out of it! JLS....there is nothing about them. Not that good looking with perhaps JB who is OK at best....very cheap and poorly written songs and don't get me started with that one they did with Div (considering she has zero talent). Live they're not great and only came 2nd in X-Factor because Alexandra blew everyone away and were up against that little twerp from Nothern Ireland. This was due to the screaming girlies voting.... I think Rihanna/KP and possibly Nicki Minaj/Lady Gaga will be around a while. Rihanna is too popular. I think if 1D and JLS were around in the 1990s, especially when TT in their first incarnation were around, they'd have been a League 1 boyband at best.
  7. Too true torresgirl. I think the saturation has become a bit too much for people and this Sport Relief record was the final straw for a lot of people. 1D will be heading to the dumpster within a year or two....in fact, it does not surprise me if it has began now with "One Thing" failing to make Top 5....on top of that, they are appealing a lot to pre-teens...my seven year old niece loves 1D! On top of that, you know what to expect....I wouldn't be surprised if we get some summer smash in June/July that goes to #1 and falls like a tart's knickers. Seriously, if you want to stick around appeal to the mass market a la Take That, Westlife and The Wanted.
  8. Honestly, I think some of their fan base have either grown up and moving towards the like of Jessie J or The Wanted.....and the younger ones are more 1D. The writing is on the wall for this group......

That was the one! Plus JLS's piss poor "Club is Alive"....2010 had a lot of dross number ones.

Stooshe look like a bunch of slappers....hopefully they'll go the way of Parade. Thank you for posting this :) Seeing this list, you would be forgiven thinking there is only 1000 songs in the UK. However, some of these I have not heard since they were released!
  11. Around 20-30....the screaming girlies will have their way.....I hope it does flop. Stupid little squirt.
  12. Tulisa's song is sooooooo generic. There are too many similar sounding songs out at the moment. As for the video, she could have saved money and used the sex tape

Oh yes....I remember it being on the news - "Some Say".....shame that missed top 40, worked well with the revamp in the single version. I LOVE THE ALBUM! Every song is wonderful.

Haiti and that Guetta song have been forgotten about, "In My Head" sing Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" and there you are....plagarised melody. Scouting for Girls.....I do hear this song often on the radio, so it's still fresh in the head. Ciara with "Goodies".....is that the one that sounds like a car alarm going off? It must have been one REALLY DEAD week. Nelly again with "Over and Over"....I don't even remember a note! Considering he has had some good songs, he has hit the summit with a lot of dull dross! His #1 with Notoruis Big with "Nasty Girl" is unmemorable too. No-one put Crazy Frog.....we all remember Jamster hammering it the week it made #1.....It got that bad I was sticking with BBC the whole week! Orson - "No Tomorrow" - a great song, but I bet the general public don't know it well. "All Summer Long" as mentioned by a previous poster....has not been heard since 2008. I would say "That's My Goal" by Shayne Ward is forgotten....even if it's the only and good original winners song from X-Factor.

#9 hit from 2004....Kristian Leontinou "Story of My Life" - it's popular in my house and my mp3 player. Shame he never made it big...great artist and album. qJmZDV80Vl4

"Good Times" funny that was #1 the week that shower of shit were elected.....if only people knew what they were really like. I think it was "chav power" that had a part to play with their #1s

That's the only Steps song I don't know! Even some of their album tracks are memorable e.g "Love You More", "I Surrender" and "Buzz"

I picked up their two albums for less than £2 back in 2003/4 (probably sold them at a car boot sale or lost them when I moved out LOL), and the only songs I liked off there where "The Way To Your Love" and an album track called "Suddenly" which was very in tune with Britney at that time!

I think this is more popular in Eurovision fan circles than it is with the public. #2 in 1982 "One Step Further" by Bardo. 7th in Eurovision held in Harrogate! E01gm3keg4M

I was thinking of this too. Going further back....I doubt many people remember this from 1982: DQIWAYUNlRw

I think it's one of those, that the public isn't that familiar with but popular with those into the rock scene so to speak.

I know MCR are a big group, and I know "I'm Not OK" from them, but this song is in one ear out the other!

I do like McFly, but even I don't know that song! One from October 2006....My Chemical Romance - "Welcome to the black parade" - This is as random as you'll get: kDWgsQhbaqU&ob=av2e

Agreed. I remember at the time thinking it was an anti-buy from people to stop Gareth Gates getting another week @ #1.

Was very annoyed that beat The Saturdays with "Forever is Over" :arrr: That Amele and Tinchy song is very unmemorable indeed....however, it's a great song and I have the CD single doing the rounds somewhere. I was going to say that Ja Rule ft Ashanti thing....they ALWAYS performed together on a track. I heard rumours about them - but whether they were true or not is debatable. "The Hindu Times" by Oasis - I do NOT even remember how this goes! RSLPbl8Nigk I am sure this was a mass buy by Oasis fans.
