  1. Just hope the $l*t fails to make #1....stupid chav.
  2. Oof! Now that is disastarous.

Early 2005 was very pathetic for the charts indeed.....the thing is, there were some gems in those charts which had they made the extra push could have got to the summit! I reckon it was fixed for Elvis to get the 1000th #1.....something tells me that the whole campaign was engineered and a few multi-buys were put in force to make it happen.
  4. We've seen a thread of those who were unlucky not to make #1, so why not one for those who were unlucky to make narrowly in the top 40 to be announced on Radio 1, the top 75 as an "official" position and the top 200 to say they made it. I heard Kate Nash was a few copies off #200 with "Kiss That Grrl" in 2010.

All4One - "I Swear": seven weeks at #2, lost out to "Love is all around" by Wet, Wet, Wet.

Crazy Frog with it's aggresive ad campaign that basically stopped the opposition from having a level field.
  7. Bloody hell Matt! He's falling faster than a prossie dropping her knickers!
  8. Why wasn't this #1? It was waaaaaaaaaaay better than the most hyped song of the 21st century "Crazy in love" which is five lines repeated non-stop. Bré thanks. That's pretty embarassing LOL! Popstars next? or maybe some obscure music shows?
  9. My first boyfriend had that album!!! He was the same age as me btw..... Niki...I bet if Leona or Alexandra sang that song, it would have been top 3 :( Was there an offical position for BellAmie?
  10. Beiber fans need to have a Mental Health assessment.
  11. Shows it's half term with Beiber in the top 40 :puke2:
  12. In fairness it was an aborition of an album. I only found TWO songs listenable which were the two released singles. Sums up with acts who re-release a single that the album isn't much to cop.
  13. I can't say I've seen that Britney video anywhere. I guess because of the row, they are refusing to show it?
  14. Oh God.....not another "charity" X-Factor single. Why hasn't Cowell been done for deception? Back to hiding the CD singles in HMV again.
  15. Cher Lloyd is a tart who should have been jailed as her going to #1 caused the riots in August. I wonder what will happen if her next single goes to #1. Beyonce.....what the f*** has happened in this era! Very bad songs......she needs a new songwriter and producer ASAP.
  16. Glad that Only Way is Essex shite thing "Reem" is flopping...who bought this....the cast and some brainless idiots?

  18. Hahahaha! at Matt Cardle failing to make the top 3.......let's hope Cher Lloyd fails to make the top 10 (but thats wishful thinking).
  19. Her new single isn't that great, but I do await the album. I hope it's as good as "Turn It Up"
  20. "Passion" is a great album indeed. Shame it was panned by the critics :( I liked "Love Never Loved Me".....could easily be a Melodifestivalen semi final song: T2l8vpX8KyY
  21. What are these bloody Immortal versions? Rapes of the classics?
  22. It's interesting that some people are still buying them. How many physical singles does #1 sell in the Physical Single Chart? HMV in Birmingham....the single shelf is non-existent pretty much compared to Merry Hill where the CD singles are in the same column as the world music lol! I realised that the last cassette single I bought was 5p in a sale @ Asda in Cov LOL!
  23. I have to say Charlie Simpson is the only person making a career out of mumbling....just like Dida Dragan with screaming.
  24. As everything is moving to the digital age, what was the last physical single you bought? For me: CD: "Broken Arrow" by Pixie Lott (That was around New Year week 2011!) Cassette: "I wanna dance with somebody" Flip n Fill
  25. Haven't they milked this enough? Sorry but let the man rest in peace. Let's remember him for the songs we know and love him for.
