Happy new year! one year has passed so quickly. I'm still hopeful for one last time reunion all 5 maybe at Glasto?
  2. I thought the same, it should have been in the top10.
  3. I like it a lot, it's a sweet classy sex song, it suits her voice and the orchestra makes it classier. Nice one.
  4. Emma looks gorgeous, can't wait for the new version of 2 become 1. :cheer:
  5. It's what they deserve. Their catalogue is so small and they don't do anything about it. No new single, new album, no tour, nothing.
  6. I think it's because of their short-lived career and small catalogue, then they just vanished. It's impossible to just show up 25 years later and expect to get huge offers. Older acts with big catalogue tour Asia in the later stage of their careers, it's not about building fan base, it's what the true artists do, those acts got nothing to prove to anyone yet they still do it. You know I don't mind it makes sense if you're looking at it.
  7. Meaning they aren't big enough in Asia to get the right offers. Almost every biggest acts in the world/true artists tour Asia so...
  8. Not even Japan? This is sad, even smaller groups can manage to tour more continents than them.
  9. I have no interest in CDs whatsoever but just seen the unboxing. It looked really great especially the book and those photocards, just ordered it.
  10. The lyric video is the cutest!
  11. 5 Cassettes, Pink and Zoetrope vinyls.
  12. I hope Madison doesn't get affected mentally by this whole situation. Disgusting man.
  13. I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion. No one can force them to do anything, it's really up to them. Their 2.5 year of hard work won't last forever, there are other groups who put more effort and dedication for their fans and time is on their side. The streaming is growing everyday so at one point in the future they'll be dethroned and rightfully so. It won't be a waste, the work these young groups have been doing. The lack of commitment and touring are also reasons why they're not well-respected. Once their brand is crumbling, it will affect their solos as well. But it is what it is.
  14. The Sugababes deserve better.
  15. Imagine being the biggest girl group ever but never once doing a proper world tour or commit to anything apart from those two years. To be honest they deserve to be dethroned by those young ones who are more committed. I can wait as long as it takes but they need to do something properly when this pandemic is over.
  16. The title really screams GEM era lol
  17. Congratulations to Baby and Jade, finally. What a couple! I bet Covid made them realize a lot of things.
  18. I like it but feel like it could fit more in Mel B solo album.
  19. Not to be dramatic but got a bit emotional seeing this. It's not only they were young girls emerging in male-dominated industry but also the fact that they were pop girls, the genre everyone hates. It was because they were the first as well that made everything harder. Yet against all the odds they did it. May their legacy lives on.
  20. Their effort is almost close to zero lol. Apart from that short tour in their home, they have zero new output for other fans or general public. To gain old fans back or new fans, it takes greater effort. Nice to hear there will be more touring. :cheer:
  21. That album would have sold at least 8-9 million globally still or more with the right concept and the right tunes, the market was still huge. They were the spice girls, the global megastars. The fans and some casuals would have bought their record anyway and today we would have at least three spice classics.
  22. I don't like the cassette design at all but that EMI brand got me lol, the vinyl is okay. Look at the prices and still sold out. Imagine if they make the effort, something like the new album.
  23. TLC and Destiny's Child were big international groups, If you listened to them you would know their sounds and they're far better than the girls on the RnB side. This is the same when I heard something quite similar to the Spice Girls sound, it's bland to me as well. 5ive was not international and their sound wasn't that bad considering it's teen pop music, it's catchy and the girls did it well or even better than them, plus it didn't overshadow the whole album like Darkchild did. About Geri, it's fine if you don't like her solo stuff, she's the weak link as a singer and performer but I love her stuff as a writer and ideas she brought to the group and I also liked some of her solos. They are not perfect on their own, they need each other.
