  1. I mean many people are also parents now Sammy. You are absolutely right if we're in a normal situation it wouldn't be a problem, most adult fans are more than ready I'm sure but after the pandemic many people will suffer the financial crisis and fear. The girls will definitely get less crowd and it's outside the UK we're talking about. This pandemic is not a joke.
  2. I think they can play stadiums worldwide if they relese new materials, in Japan they probably can play a dome or big arena.
  3. I don't think it's gonna end soon. China has been fighting this virus since November and back on lockdown again due to fear of the second wave. America handles this very poorly and they're not even at their peak yet and it's gonna be a disaster in South America as well. Europe itself is still suffering, some countries aren't peaking yet either. Things aren't gonna go back to normal soon, not this year. Even next year, it would still be too risky to hold big events. At this point, I think they should wait. Who would want to spend their money on concert tickets in times like this? Remember spice fans aren't kids or teens anymore. They have more responsibilites now. We need a vaccine first or wait until most of world population get infected to end it.
  4. So Sammy was probably right, no? Are they planning to tour in 2021? That would be amazing but people are gonna be so broke after the pandemic.
  5. Too much.
  6. The disrespect to one of the most iconic songs of all time.
  7. The UK sales, I'm still waiting for Jay's promise. :P :cheer:

Spice Girls — Spice: 1,600,000 Spice went on to be 1997's best selling album. 1998 was a tough year for them, they were facing the gigantic Titanic/Celine Dion, yet at one point still managed to have 2 albums in the top ten.
  9. Never Give Up on the Good Times
  10. I find it a bit insulting that spice world had become so dark and sad while in reality the arrival of the spice girls brought us so much joy and brighter world, the girls knew it. The lead single video should have been more friendly to general public, you can be interesting later in your second video. Twenty plus years later there is nothing iconic about it while people still remember and talking about Viva Forever and Stop videos.
  11. It would've been epic. During their prime I'd rather trust the girls than Virgin, they also knew Wannabe should be the one introducing them to the world while Virgin favoured Say You'll There/Love Thing.
  12. SUYL would have been bigger if their video wasn't so dark and quite scary for kids at the time.
  13. The situation is getting more and more serious. Emma and VB know the drill.
  14. It's getting harder. Move Over for now.
  15. I am sorry but no one can sing spice girls songs like the Spice Girls. It's not just their distinctive persalnaliites that blend so well but also their vocals. B-)
  16. I don't hate it just like it a little less, Step to Me lacks memorable melodies. Do it, just the first note, it pulled you right in and Saturday Night Divas is a superior spice song. :whip:
  17. Step to Me
  18. UK is the biggest market in Europe, Germany comes second and then France. iTunes means almost nothing these days, that's not how modern people consume music in western countries nowadays. It's streaming for younger people/music fans and radio for general public and casuals. 20+ year old acts won't chart easily on singles chart because they need streams and radio support to get there but they can still do well on albums chart since older fans are still buying albums. Melanie just needs a couple more great tracks, some radio support and proper promos to sell this album but doing promos is a problem here.
  19. Agreed, the core is always there, that brilliant creative mind. She's happy as long as she gets the attention, that's Geri.
  20. It deserves radio spins.
  21. Melanie's new management is by far better than Emma's. They managed to get her a huge slot like Graham Norton, Presenting the Brit award to the hottest act at the moment, Rolling Stones interview and James Corden slot, etc. Who I am is a great track, a lot of millennials will love this lol, if she releases a couple more of decent songs, I think her album will do well. The only obstacle is Corona that will prevent her from doing live gigs and promos.
  22. Exactly.
  23. Corona is not slowing down anytime soon. Love the song.
  24. It's an old material. Some fans got tired of the milking. It's six months after the tour, the buzz had gone. They didn't appear together or being active as a band whatsoever, so casual fans couldn't care less. Lazy as usual. Now a serious question, are they gonna hold on to those two albums forever? If yes, then they deserve to be surpassed by DC or TLC.
