Heard them on This Morning today. Brought me out in goosebumps when I heard Steven singing on the beginning. Still prefer Mikey's voice to Ronan's though :)

Fab performance from Leona on This Morning and how anyone can say she's not interesting in interviews is beyond me. I thought the interview was really good.

I forgot to mention Susan Boyle in my previous post, but yes, it gave me goosebumps when she came in. If you follow the list in an earlier post on here, everyone is singing exactly where it said.

Nothing will ever be on a par with the original, but I quite liked it. The only bit I wasn't too keen on was Mariah Carey. Really liked Leona, Gary, James Blunt, James Morrison and the Kylie and Robbie bit at the end.

Just flick through the actual singing late last night, so haven't seen all the behind the scenes bits. Darius was by far the best on the night for me with Bernie and Marcella second and third. Didn't think much of any of the other three especially Danny. I'm so pleased that Darius got through, but very sad to hear that he may have split with Natasha. That would be such a shame. Whoever said it, I agree, he did look sad in his eyes.

I'm not going to be able to watch tonight unfortunately, so will have to record and watch later. I hope all goes well for Darius. I shall be keeping everything crossed for him. If I can find out what position he's singing at, I'll try to put in a few votes for him.

Totally agree with you Baytree. Nothing in my opinion will ever equal the talent from PI1, with the possible exception of Leona and time will tell if she can diverse from Pop music or not.

Yes :cheer: . Cameron Mackintosh did an interview for BBC which you can listen to on the iPlayer if you're quick. Its 2hr 4 mins into the program. He said the live recording will be made during the next three weeks in Manchester and will be available by Easter. He was so full of praise for Gareth and referred to him as `a gift to Musical Theatre' said he lights up the stage and several other lovely things about him, before he even went on to mention the voice :wub: :wub: . Also emphasized that he wasn't chosen to put bums on seats as the tickets were almost sold out before he was announced, but because he was perfect for the part. I got a sneaky feeling Cameron had been waiting 8 years for Gareth to get over his flirtation with pop music so he could get hold of him.
