So pleased you enjoyed the show. When you say `even husband was impressed', could I ask what his opinion was of Gareth's performance. Only there have been several men have commented that they were really surprised at how good he was.

The actual anniversary is the 8th October I think and the run at the Lowry ends on the 21st August, so I'm kinda hoping it will go on straight fro there until the final night on the 8th. Its only guesswork and wishful thinking at the moment though. They have said there will be another announcement soon. I'll let you know when I hear.

If that is Darius' next song, I think it will definitely suit him. Also agree with you about Leslie Garratt. She would have been far better on the panel than any one of the others. Meatloaf is already doing my head in.

New date announced. Its now going to The Lowry in Salford and there are strong rumours that it will end its UK stage at The Barbican in London on the actual 25th Anniversary of Les Mis. Already got tickets for the Lowry but am keepng my fingers crossed that if it does end up at The Barbican it wll be for more than just a short run. They moved on to Manchester last night and there has already been a good response.

I've not been around much for a while. What with Christmas and the horrendous weather. Hopefully back to normal now :D I see some of you aren't too happy about this show, but I'm sure it will only do Darius good in the long-term. Hope so anyway.

Looking forwar to seeing Darius on this show. I think he will do very well. I quite like light opera so really looking forward to it.

They did really well didn't they. So pleased they won so much money for the Bobby Moore charity. I went to see Les Mis in Cardiff on Monday. Much as I've loved everything Gareth has done previously, I enjoyed this most. The whole show was truly brilliant. Some of the special effects were so good you wouldn't have thought they were on a stage. Gareth's acting lessons have certainly paid off. He was great and the music was phenominal. The scene with Eponine when she died had me sobbing. Can't wait to see it again in Birmingham.

He does doesn't he :wub: Someone posted on Twitter to say Gareth & Suzanne are recording an episode of Mr & Mrs this afternoon for the new series which starts in the new year. Think Gareth may be finding it hard to fit all these things in. He and the family are on Family Fortunes on 13th December as well. Exciting time for his fans All good publicity for Les Mis. Not that it seems to need it. I think several venues are virtually sold out.

I actually don't think that is the case in this instance. I really like James Morrison, but I don't think this single is very good and that's why its not doing very well. I do though really love all the accoustic performances on the DeLuxe album he's released this week and once people start to hear them the album will pick up again. In fact it already is.

Yes. It was lovely to see Gareth looking so happy once again. His speech wasn't too brilliant at the beginning of the interview. He said he's been working so hard he's had little time to do his breathing exercises, but by the end he seemed to have it under control again. He's really enjoying being a dad (best thing that has ever happened to him) were his words. The interview is up on the ITV This Morning site if you would like to see it.
