  6. I think radio stations here, should not only be made to play 45% of homegrown music, but they should be made to be a lot fairer about playing ALL homegrown artists, not just the ones they want to play. We could find it would make a lot of difference to some artists.
  7. James Morrison is showing at #2 for me now :o

That was great. Its not just singing with James. He's a true musician. That's real talent and that's what I like to see in an artist. He's growing on me more each day. Thanks for posting up.
  9. I love it. Didn't realize this thread was here and I've just posted a link to it in the other James thread.
  10. This is supposed to be the second single for James. A duet with Nelly Furtado. I love it  aXsuG8MEl7E

    Cars for me definitely
  12. That's what I thought, but how do I get my Top 100 to update as he's still showing at #10 on that
  13. James Morrison is showing at #8 on my Top Ten on i-tunes. Does anyone know if that's right?
  14. Booked my tickets for two performances in January (same day as its so far for me to travel). I'm mad  I think for the company to take the risk with Gareth knowing the problems he has with his speech (which just a few weeks ago was quite bad again) shows how much they value his presence in this production. If he can come up trumps with this, who knows where it may lead in the future. Hopefully the part in Soho Cinders for a start. I'm sure Gareth will work really hard to get things back under control, so that he puts on a great performance. Think we can excuse him lapsing just a little when he was on his honeymoon

Just popping in to wish Will good luck for his release on Monday. Not too thrilled with his choice of title. Of all the ones he could have picked, but never mind :naughty:
  16. Good to see you back Megham. I'm sorry you've had such a hard time of late. Hope you can get back to some sort of normal life now. Sorry about your father-in-law, but it seems it was a happy release not just for him but for all of you .
  17. I was a tiny bit shocked at this when I first heard, but on reflection I think this will be excellent preparation for Gareth for his future. He needs to be involved in speaking parts to boost his confidence with his speech. And like Hasso says he loved the involvment with lots of other people in DOI and Soccer Aid. I think this is all part of a carefully prepared plan for Gareth, until he can move forward with his music which he is adamant is his first love and always will be. He just needs to grow in other ways first. To answer your question Baytree. Joanna Page (BAFTA award winning `Gavin & Stacey') has the part of Cinderella and the Actor/Comedian Alistair McGowen plays Baron Hardup. Ronn Lucas (American comedian) and James Thornton (Holby Blue/Dalziel & Pascoe), are also part of the cast. Gareth has been telling us how funny he is, so this will be his chance to put that into practice. How many tickets? Let me see. I actually haven't booked any yet, but I will be over the weekend
  18. I don't think that's true actually. I've had lots of messages from two acts who are releasing next week, even though I'm not even on the mailing list of one of them.
  19. Totally agree again with this. We can't all like the same people. If we all went around slagging off those we don't like, that would really be boring and very hurtful for those who do like the ones we don't. I've not been keen on MyFly's earlier releases, but I do think they are trying to put out something a bit different. They obviously want a career in music, so why not give them a chance to prove they can do that, rather than just hearing the name McFly and closing our minds. They may look to be using desperation measures sometimes, but once they get themselves an established base to work from they may be able to do things differently. Just my opinion.
  20. But at least they are giving their fans several slightly different versions to buy. Surely that's better than fans buying multiple copies of the same disc, which is what happens in lots of cases where an artist has a large fanbase. I know I've bought a couple of copies of the exact same CD and I'm sure there are thousands of others who have done the same.
  21. Totally agree with this. I'm not a McFly fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I don't see anything wrong with them trying to sell their music any way they can, just like any other artists do in their own way.
  22. Best song won IMO
