It doesn't work like that. Her promo trips in Europe in the last few years have never coincided with the X Factor result shows, if they did, she surely would have been invited to perform. In fact, she'll be on the UK in a few weeks and I'm 90% sure she'll be on the result show on December 2nd.

I'm 90% positive P!nk will perform Try on the December 2 result show.

She would've been asked and she would say yes considering she sang on the Australian X Factor this year. If she stops by the UK in the next few weeks there's no way she won't be performing at the show.

iTunes Album Chart: 2013
I've said it many times before: Leona Lewis is irrlevant to the general public as of 2012. Not only she'll not debut at #1, she'll probably sell less than Ellie Goulding did this week.

You guys, Leona Lewis is not "big" anymore. Let's accept its not 2007 anymore.

I think Robbie Williams will also be on on the 4th.

Of course she promotes her singles in the UK but in the release week she'll be in the US definitely. She sells better in the UK but not being in NYC during release week is basically giving up on the American market tbh, it's a requisite for any US artist. During Talk that Talk she was in the midst of her UK tour and she got on a plane for 24hrs so she could tape 2 shows in the US. It's important to be on TV over there during release week. And besides, she'll get a #1 easily in the UK, she needs to focus her efforts in the US 'cause she doesn't sell as easily over there. But anyway, she could easily do The X Factor any day she desires to. If Taylor pre-recorded her performance 1 week earlier, Rihanna could easily do the same.

Only if she pre-tape it. Unlike her last album release -- which was in the midst of her tour -- she will obviously be in the US on the release week.

LOL at anyone pretending Leona's career at this point is anything more than a flop. I think her album will also do quite terribly and I think it has absolutely no chance of debuting at the top, even with the 1 year worth of preorders. And also, it's not her label's fault: they promoted her quite OK. It's just that the public got tired of her and her shtick. She did nothing wrong, she has a nice voice and her songs are good but she doesn't have a market and the novelty wore off. Simple as that.

Predict: JLS - Hottest Girl in the World
Top 5. It's a decent enough song, much better than some of their previous lead single. They're not really that popular currently tho.

Leona is a bit of a non factor at this point imo. Even with X Factor promo, I don't think she'll go top 3, probably not even top 5.

Rihanna - 'Diamonds'
I don't know about S.O.S. but, while its true Umbrella went straight to the top on US iTunes, it's completely unfair to compare then and now especially because, back then, releases were held back in the US and now they aren't. Umbrella was already on high rotation on radios when it was released for sale. Weak excuses imo. Rihanna's momentum was HUGE when Only Girl came out considering she had two number 1 smash hits under her name -- Rude Boy and Love the Way You Lie -- and the American public focus much more on her singles than her albums. Besides, Rated R was hardly disastrous -- it sold 1 million in the US, the same amount as Talk That Talk.

Rihanna - 'Diamonds'
As if those are any indicators. None of Rihanna's lead singles went to the top in their first week out on US iTunes (except for Russian Roulette which only occupied the top spot for a few hours) and Only Girl has never topped the iTunes US charts at all and it was huge all over the planet (including the US, where it eventually topped the Hot 100). We Found Love also never reached the top in Australia.

US iTunes Top 100 [JUL-DEC 2012]
Wonder if Xtina video will have any meaningful effect in the song performance on iTunes. It's #40 right now, up from #44 when the video was released.

Rihanna - 'Diamonds'
1D have lots and lots of pre-orders so they'll have the number 1 next week.

"Skyfall" • Official Thread
You guys, Adele is THE most hyped acts in the world right now. She doesn't sell for her fanbase or for a specific public, she sells across all demographics. The second her single is released, it'll be played to death by all radio stations and publicized nonstop by all media vehicles 'cause everyone is thirst for a new release by her and her lack of public appearances only make her release a bigger event. It'll sell bucketloads easily in its first week.

No, it had nothing to do with a leak. The single actually did not leak. The release was brought forward due to Gaga's wish to coincide with McQueen's death anniversary. The release date change was actually announced a few weeks prior. Some songs that DID leak and were released earlier on iTunes US: P!nk's Blow Me; Taylor Swift's Mine; Katy Perry's California Gurls; Ke$ha's Die Young... in fact, most singles leak and then are released immediately to iTunes. I guess the only reason 1D didn't do that is because their management is British tbh. The only lead singles by A-listers which did not leak that I can think of was Taylor's WANEGBT; Gaga's Born this Way and Rihanna's WFL/Diamonds.

Who will be quarter 4s biggest selling album
Leona Lewis will underperform surely. JLS will also sell quite mediocrely compared to their previous releases and I truly doubt they'll get a number 1. Susan Boyle, on the other hand, will probably do better than expected (as usual) but will keep the declining sales. One Direction, Olly Murs, Robbie Williams, Rihanna, Mumford & Sons will all do pretty well I reckon. The re-releases, especially Buble and Emeli Sande, will also do well. Giving the strong performance of the lead single, Taylor Swift will also probably do better than her previous album although obviously nowhere as big as the US.

The Wanted & One Direction - American success
Yeah, but surely a 4Q release would help 1D achieve bigger numbers than Bieber. As of right now, they're equally as big in the U.S. And I highly doubt Swift will have the biggest opening in history, NSync's 2 million copies in a week is an impossible record to break. She'll have the biggest opening week of the year tho.

Alicia Keys' new single, Girl on Fire, has officialy been released in three versions: the original mix, the Inferno Mix featuring Nicki Minaj and a more R&B stripped down version, blue light mix.

She'll definitely outsell Bieber. She has a much bigger fanbase than him in the US, not to mention this is her new album official first single, so it'll be heavily promoted, much more so than her previous songs that reached 1 on iTunes. Oh, also, I don't think "Mine" had a full week of sales 'cause it leaked and it ended up being released earlier on iTunes. So that's why it didn't had much of a chance at number 1.
