Anyone else fed up...
I totally agree I am so fed up of the charts that I have just stopped listening altogether, that and a slow chart combined with the tireless waffle of Fearne and Reggie bumbling around messing it up gets more and more frustrating. As said before, the 2005-2007 era was acceptable, some week smay have had 7 new entries but at least we still had weeks where there were 12 new entries, when there would be the odd surprise new entry nowadays whatever is on the itunes chart is what enters the top 40 and I am so fed up with the fact that downloaders dont have any imaginations at all and I'm annoyed that the record companies arent helping the physical format by not re-shuffling the pricing of cds as i thought they were going to, as it was the physicals that sometimes allowed something random to appear

Mids: How many times a week do you want them
I agree I think like someone was asying in a previous thread, I don't actually care about the singles chart anymore, and I've been an avid fan since about the mid to late 90's and i find the whole 4-5 new entries week in week out so damn boring, I didnt want the chart slowed down to the point where record are allowed to stay in the chart for 30 weeks and then the whole secnd single artists who can't break the top 40 for the firsty singles, The mids n friday always look like the chart to some extent so I 'd say a tuesday and thursday defintly

iTunes Download Chart September '08
My thoughts exactly Shame Chicane and Natasha have dropped out the top 40 on itunes, praying they hold on to the top 40 for sunday, though i fear they wont make it     I blame Nickleback

Axwell, Sinclar & Ron Carroll - What A Wonderful World
Absolutley love love love this record, Axwell is a genius, all of his singles are brillaint and this is amazing!!!! I think its out to download on September, with the physical either out the same week or a week later, cant be sure, i know the physical is up for a September 29th release, but either its gonna flop I fear despite the names behind the track

Dave's Brand Spanking New Singles Chart (Week 34: 04.09.08)
Welcome to a brand new chart and two days earlier than usual because next week I'll be back in Southampton where my internet is, for want of a better word, c**p!!!! This week's chart marks quite a big occassion, it is the first week for nearly two months where there are absolutley NO new entries, so this weeks chart consists of climbers and fallers and non-movers, old tracks and new tracks climb and we'll find out if Bryn Christopher can secure a second week as my number one record. So, as we have no dropouts, here is a contender for a future number one in the next few weeks for you all to enjoy: Tip for the Top: P!nk - So What B0iCfvjl5Xw Release Date: September 29th 2008 Here is the start of this week's brand new chart then and we start at 20 with a record thats been around, ironically, for five weeks, kicking off the chart this week its Noah And The Whale with the superb '5 Years Time'......

iTunes Download Chart September '08
Wow at Bryn Christopher I love this record SO SO SO much and glad its doing well, fingers crossed for top 30 on Sunday I'm glad Chicane's at 34 in the charts and still top 40 on itunes so hopefully they'll be ther for Sunday, Bruised Water is an amazing record and deserves to be top 20 but never mind

Predict : Steve Mac - Paddy's Revenge
I'd say, and as much as I like the track i really didnt expect it to be doing this well, I reckon eaily top 20, top 10 I'd say is unlikely. Already this year the likes of Alex Gaudino and Spoon/Harris/Obernik, to name an example, all shot up itunes then by physical the downloads trailed off big time
-
Predict : Pink - 'So What'
:naughty: That's me told then haha
-
Predict: Sugababes - Girls
As much as I want to say number 1, i really think they will be lucky to get top 3 but they are gauranteed about #5, though I could and hope that it is biger than this cos I love this record, cannot wait to see the video, I saw some promo pics in a magazine at the weeknd and its looking brilliant!!!!
-
Predict : Pink - 'So What'
I would have said top 5 but there still seems to be no fixed date for the tracks release despite there being a video so I think she may need to rely on her fan s this time round, I do like the song alot, it has really grown on me so i hope it gets top 5, but no way will it be number 1 (which means it will be if i doubt it  )

iTunes Download Chart September '08
Glad bryn Christopher's doing ok, 66 at the moment on my itunes I have to say that PCD track has REALLY grown on me so I'm glad its doing good, should easily be top 5 by Sunday Hopefully, Sonny J will be top 40 next week when the remix gets added and hopefully Chicane holds onto a top 40 place so it could stand a slim chance of just entering the top 40 next Sunday...wont happen but I can dream

Should I Give Up On CD Singles?
I love buying CD singles and albums, but my problem is that why should I pay £1.99 for a CD single when people are paying 79p for a download. I now refuse to buy a CD single unless its priced at 99p because I don't think its fair that downloading is taking over and I refuse to pay over the odds, which is why I think the physical format needs to be encouraged by reduced prices and a complete relaunch before it does become an obsolete format, I would love to return to buying my music physically every week but in the current climate it si impossible

X Factor vs Strictly Come Dancing
I'd rather watch a 'talent' show than sit through 10 minutes of The X Factor I was reading The Mirror last week and the tv reviewing guy (I want his job!!) was saying how Dermot O'Dreary just reads out the same old stuff like 'biggest search' and that c**p, and at least Strictly won't be resoponsible for ruining the Christmas number 1
