at last, SOME movement in the chart and some new records too, finally, shame some records cant just disappear for good, so many records outside the top 40 that really deserve to chart
  3. I'll say a '5th' week for Dizzee and Calvin, I just hope to god that awful Kid Rock record stays at number 2 and is never allowed even a week at the top, though now ive said this just watch it happen... As much as I'm really liking The Saturdays record, i'm thinking top 10 at best but given the slow nature of the charts it could ony do a top 20 stint for a few weeks I think I'd go as far as saying The Verve are almost gauranteed number one when htey release on August 4th ANYHTING BUT KID F***ING C**k and ill be happy!!!!!!!!!

Highest New Entry: From their debut album, Black Kids enter at 11 with the superb 'Listen To Your Body Tonight', TUNE!!!! Biggest Faller: Buy Now and The Kooks are the big fallers this week, down 6 places to numbers 15 and 9 respectively. Highest Climber: This record shouldn't have been top 5, but its a climb of 10 places for Sneaky Sound System. Longest Runner: The Wideboys and Madonna (an unusual combination!!) each spend 12 weeks on my chart. Tip For Next Week's Chart: Can Dizzee and Calvin make it 3 weeks or will Adele, Kylie or Black Kids beat them to it?? So, there you have it, this week's chart is done and I'm off ro a lay down, haha!!!! As usual, if you have any opinions or comments you may wish to share please feel free, if you cant be bothered copying and pasting your highlights than just leave a comment...I don't know, let's try and vary it  Anyway, until next week, and from next week I'll be looking at contenders for single and album of the year in the build up to my chart of 2008, so I will see you in 7 days time!!!! :cheer:
  5. Summer has finally arrived in the UK, hooray!!!! Though not for long as the rain and thunder is on its way, oh well, better make the most of it, which is why I'm surprised my chart is here and on time when I should be outsdie having fun in the summer, see how commited I am :naughty: Anyway, back to the chart, and this week sees a strange new entry from a great album that you have got to listen to, that kinda shouldnt be there but is, and 1 re-entry. Other than that its a fairly quiet week, which sees the following records leave the chart: Dropouts: 18 - Ne-Yo - Closer {10 - 4 - 6 - 14 - 18} 17 - Snap! - Rhythm Is A Dancer {7 - 5 - 12 - 11 - 15 - 17} Can Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris make a second week at hte top of my chart?? There are a few climbers this week and some non movers, but will there be a new number one...stay here, I will reveal all in the next few moments!!!! But first, as usual, here is this weeks number 20 and number 19 back to back, both records are two of this week's non movers, so sit back and enjoy Ashlee Simpson and the Wideboys featuring Shaznay Lewis, kickin goff this wee'ks brand new chart............

I LOVE that Bryn Christopher record, it is amazing!!!! Loving the new Taio Cruz track too, and The Verve, nice top 10, bar the dirge that is Mariah Carey

I am so annoyed at the lack of action in the download the chart, so many brilliant songs lingering in the top 75, compared to the old and stale records in side the top 40, I mean why are Mercy, With You, Rolex, Cry For You, Low, Heartbreaker, Black and Gold all stillt here and climbing over newer, fresher music that peaks at say top 20 then drops or fails to get even into the the top 40, its frustrating and annoying that this chart is virtually what the uk charts look like, i miss the days physicals would make the chart less predictable even with download sales............ Oh well, I give up at the minds of the British public
  9. This tune is nothing short of amazing and is deserving of its own topic!!!! 'Midnight Madness' will be the 18th UK single release from Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, and is to be taken off their second greatest hits package called 'Brotherhood', the album is out on September 1st. Also, interesting fact, this new single is the 10th of a series of records called the 'Electronic Battle Weapon', which will also feature on the 2 disc compilation album!! The single will ba available to download from August 4th, and physically from August 18th (I think, though this could change) xcHF_RhSW-0 The video is what you would come to expect from the Chemical Brothers, it is slightly strange and peculiar, but in its own way, nothing short of genius. Let me know what you think!!!!
  10. I loved 'Everybody', on eof my fave dance tracks of recent years!!!! I love this new record almost as much, I think it needs a few listens, but I'm going to find out if there is a release date for this because this sounds so good I love it!!!!

I am so sick of seeing the likes of David/Gail/Tina and the fact that there are no real stroylines recently to interest me to sit through 30 minutes of CS. The writers of the show need to up their game, I know CS has always been more about more humane things, and is kind of a bit comedic in its intentions and i smore light hearted than EE but theres only so much light heartedness i can stand, so many characters woefully underused or given the bland comedy stuff which annoys me so much or its the same old charcters week in week out. Sean, Lloyd, Kirk, Molly, Tyrone and Chesney should be axed because i see no point in the characters and if they have to stay give them something decent for goodness sake.
  12. 1Dave2006 posted a post in a topic in Television
Thank god, I hate Bobby Davro, and the character of Vinnie has been given zero stroylines, however, it is a shame that its not a permanent exit, I just think the character should have been given a decent storyline to be involved in as I cant see where they could possibly take the character, it just seems like a pointless attempt to get an Alfie Moon type character without having to waste the phonecall on Shane Ritchie's agent!!!! Hate Sean and the whole Branning saga so much, the Mitchell sisters are brilliant though

So pleased for Dizzee and Calvin, I was getting bored of the likes of Duffy and Madonna dominating this chart, so yeah I am pleased with this weeks result, nice to see some good songs in there :cheer:
  14. ATM, i do love this track, but i have a feeling if too many people like it than ill hate it  But I could see a number 1 in the making with the right promo, but with my abilities to predict somewhat lacking, I'll be safe and say definite top 10
  15. This lot have the charisma of Leon Jackson, the arrogance of Shayne Ward and the monotony of Steve Brookstein Yes, that's my view manufactured and bland, I just think without Busted they wouldn't have had the 'success' they have had, I'm sick of them so much so that I'll come back and edit my rant because I need time to put it all together

Yeah Paramount Comedy 2 is currently showing this, I believe they are showing the 2nd/3rd series atm!!!!! I love BOAF, I love Dorien such a great character, I mean if i was to be super critical I would say sometimes the acting wasn't fantastic but as with most shows, the longer it went on for, the better it got, I love it!!!!
  17. Hey guys thank you so much for all your comments and thoughts so far on my chart this week!!!! :cheer: Slightly disappointed to see a distinct lack of love for the amazing 'Geraldine', such a tune, love this band so much!!!! Anyway, anyone with anything else to add by all means feel free!!!!!!!!

  20. Is it wrong to be very excited by the new series, I love Sarah Jane and the actress who plays her really acts well and her appearence in DW finale was brilliant

I agree, enough of Sean already, bring on the autumn/winter when his character goes, wich I have read rumours of: Personally, if EE go with this I think it could be a very exciting storyline, and I'd rather a permanent exit over a jump in the back of a taxi or impromtu visit to the tube station!!!! Though I have had enough of Max though, creeping over Ronnie, its sick and so his he, I can't stand him, but looking forward to, even with Sean, the Mitchell trip to Weymouth this week!!
  23. thanks everyone for your comments and favourites, really appreciate it, if ther are any more feel free to add them!!!!!!!!

  25. Good morning to everyone in BuzzJack, and welcome to a brand new week, and the usual great British summer, makes you feel proud to be British  Anyway, this week I've gone for a slightly unconventional approach to the chart this week. I'm going to start by revealing the chart for week 25, and then due to quite a manic week before I go away for a few weeks so I've got lots of ironing and packing to do, I will post week 26 in full. Both charts couldnt be more different, one is very static with no new entries, the other sees major demolition, more on that later, so here is week 25 below, stay around for week 26, you can see that in its usual format in just a bit: Week 25: Thursday July 3rd 2008 Will Sonny J make it to a third week at the top of my chart, or will Freemasons, Buy Now or Mint Royale climb to the top?? 20 - The Mystery Jets - Two Doors Down {9 - 5 - 14 - 18 - 18 - 10 - 3 - 11 - 17 - 19 - 20} 19 - Amy MacDonald - Poison Prince {3 - 6 - 11 - 15 - 19 - 20 - 19} 18 - The Ting Tings - That's Not My Name {2 - 4 - 5 - 9 - 14 - 14 - 17 - 18} 17 - Alex Gaudino featuring Shena - Watch Out {3 - 6 - 13 - 17} 16 - Ashlee Simpson - Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya) {2 - 4 - 8 - 9 - 12 - 16 - 16} 15 - Wideboys featuring Shaznay Lewis - Daddy-O {3 - 1 - 1 - 2 - 7 - 8 - 11 - 15 - 15} 14 - Taio Cruz - I Can Be {1 - 6 - 6 - 9 - 14 - 14} 13 - The Potbelleez - Don't Hold Back {4 - 11 - 13} 12 - One Republic - Say (All I Need) {2 - 5 - 7 - 10 - 12} 11 - Snap! - Rhythm Is A Dancer {7 - 5 - 12 - 11} 10 - Denise Lopez - Don't You Wanna Be Mine {10 - 8 - 8 - 10} 9 - Infadels - Free Things For Poor People {4 - 3 - 6 - 9} 8 - Black Kids - Hurricane Jane {5 - 8} 7 - Madonna - Give It 2 Me {20 - 9 - 9 - 9 - 13 - 13 - 13 - 7 - 7} 6 - Ne-Yo - Closer {10 - 4 - 6} 5 - Mint Royale - Singing In The Rain {1 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 5} 4 - Coldplay - Viva La Vida {15 - 9 - 4} 3 - Buy Now - Body Crash {16 - 2 - 3} 2 - Freemasons featuring Katherine Ellis - When You Touch Me {18 - 2} 1 - Sonny J - Handsfree (If You Hold My Hand) {5 - 2 - 1 - 1 - 1} Ok, so that was last weeks chart, as you can see, its all fairly static with this weeks highest climber from the Freemasons climbing a massive 16 places to get to number 2, but not enough to beat Sonny J to a third week at the top, and the first act since Mark Brown to spend more than 2 weeks at number one, but can Sonny J make it to a fourth week this week. I will tell you that with a massive 6 new entries its going to be very very very close, stay there, here are the dropouts from the chart: Dropouts: 20 - The Mystery Jets - Two Doors Down {9 - 5 - 14 - 18 - 18 - 10 - 3 - 11 - 17 - 19 - 20} 19 - Amy MacDonald - Poison Prince {3 - 6 - 11 - 15 - 19 - 20 - 19} 18 - The Ting Tings - That's Not My Name {2 - 4 - 5 - 9 - 14 - 14 - 17 - 18} 17 - Alex Gaudino featuring Shena - Watch Out {3 - 6 - 13 - 17} 13 - The Potbelleez - Don't Hold Back {4 - 11 - 13} 10 - Denise Lopez - Don't You Wanna Be Mine {10 - 8 - 8 - 10} So, massive casualties this week, Denise Lopez suffering the most, so let's get into the chart, which sees new entries fron The Ting Tings, Bashunter and The Kooks, but will Sonny J survive and make it to a fourth week at number one?? Stay right where you are and I'll reveal all, but kicking us off at 20 is one of this weeks big fallers, a former number one at 20, its down 6 places for Taio Cruz...
