Firstly, I think the problem with the chart show now is that it lacks any sense of surprise. As metioned before, Mark Goodier, who was the first DJ i heard doing the chart, always built up the suspense before playing a new entry and I miss that, now especially with Fearne and Reggie, they just play new entries back to back. However, I think the OCC needs to introduce another chart shake up, I am so sick of Nickleback hanging around and being played week after week after week after week...for me the problem with the chart isnt so much to do with F&R but more to with how the chart is compiled. I personally miss the charts of old where in one we'd see 15 new entries, nowadays I get excited if there's 8 maybe 9 at a push, its ever since the new rules about songs charting wenever thats spoiled the chart for me and i prefered it when the singles charted 1 week b4 physical. If the record companies dont want to loose money than just sodding well wait until the week before to release to download instaed of trying to get in early ala Christina Aguileras Aint No Other Man

I love this song so much, yet unless the physical does REALLY well this won't even make it to same position as 'My Destiny', so im thinking it will flop top 30 and thats me being optimistic, I hate the charts so much right now

I need to get this single yet i can't find it anywhere, damn uk record labels I love love love this song, yet I still think the first UK album was one of the most underrated albums of the decade, its a brilliant album, they deserve the success that tedious dull unimaginative bands like The Hossiers and Scouting For Girls, cos this lot have got the talent and the songs and deserve so much more success over here. Rant over :lol:

IMO, this has to be one of the best of the series so far. I loved the fact that the guy from echo beach who CANNOT act for toffee got killed early on in the episode...bonus point for that :lol: I loved Chris Ryan as the Sontaran leader, very good villian, well acted, i never rated him as much of an actor, until i saw this 2-parter!! The Rose moment was totally unexpected and i loved it, Catherine Tate has excelled in this 2-parter and it was so nice to see Martha going into the next episode, i read somewhere that she was only in 5 episodes, and figured she would be in 4/5/11/12/13 but I'm not sure now as shes gona be in the next episode, unles it goes 4/5/6/12/13, loving Doctor Who atm and next weeks looks great. Helen Raynor definetly loves killing off the bad guys, a stronger written story compared to last years Daleks, but both were great 8.5/10 for episode 5 8.5/10 for both 4/5 as one story (if that makes sense)

Good morning to everyone in BuzzJack land, on this rather dull Thursday, and for once I am not late, early, but im on time :o Scary!!!!! So, this weeks chart is a bit quiet, ahead of next weeks massive clearout (more on that later on), on a similar scale to that of the unfortunate members of the cast of Coronation Street!!!! Just the 1 new entry this week, so here's the track that leaves the chart today: Dropouts: 19 - Taio Cruz featuring Luciana - Come On Girl {2 - 5 - 7 - 9 - 13 - 16 - 16 - 19} We say goodbye to Taio Cruz today, after an impresive 8 weeks on the chart. The only outstanding track from a disappointing album, I love this song so so much I want to see Wideboys top 40 by the end of the week or I won't be very happy, that and I'm so pleased to see Santogold climbing, some great tracks in the chart at the moment :wub:

TBH, it seems stupid to re-release another track when the recent one only just crept into the chart at 40, seems a bit daft if they were to for another reissue

good god no, I must have been the only person in the UK to be over the moon that Crazy Frog kept this lot off the number one when they released Speed Of Sound. It's a shame they've become way too over-exposed, because now i cannot bear to listen to any of their records, let alone their albums, so i know here and now that I will dislike this track regardless of how good it is, and hopefully, though very unlikely, it will just about scrape top 5 and drop like a stone......

Coronation Street bosses have axed seven characters from the soap. The Morton clan - Kebab shop boss Jerry (Michael Starke) and children Mel (Emma Edmonson), Darryl (Johnny Dixon), Kayleigh (Jessica Bardon) and Finlay (Ramone Quinn) - will leave later this year after joining the cast last March. Jack Ellis and Matthew Compton, who have played father and son bookies Harry and Dan Mason since December, will also bow out in the autumn. A source told The Sun: “The producers had a big forward planning meeting this week and have decided to axe a number of characters. Most of the actors were called in at lunchtime and told - they are gutted.” Ian Reddington, who plays Liz McDonald’s new husband Vernon Tomlin, will also make his exit in September. At last, the Boretons have outstayed their welcome, evey scene Vernon's in I have to mute the TV, yet I dont agree with the show axing the bookies, I think there's more yet, the writers keep writing fo rthe likes of David and the sga of the Michelle/Alex/Ryan snorefest, the only stroylin eim interested in at the moment is the Maria pregnancy episodes as I know they will be written well!!

Well I have to disagree, for me this was the best episode of the series so far, however..not as good as the standard of series 3, I'm still waiting for THAT special episode... The acting from the guy who was in that Echo Beach, and the guy who played the slightly creepy genius was bordering on painful. I also want to say, I wish people would watch Catherine Tate and forget about her comedy past, this episode was the first where she maintained a steady level of acting, for me this was her best performance so far, I feel Martha's appearence has helped somehow. The episode gets added points for Martha's return, but I hope the second part is good, if not better, I wish people would stop blaming CT for the episodes not being that good because they are wrong :lol: FACT!!!! 7.5/10 (will change after another viewing)
