iTunes Download Chart April 08
   :yahoo: ive just bought it now, as soon as i read this page i went straight to itunes and bought it, i couldnt wait haha!!!! this should be massive, it deserves top 10, but as per usual, the public will buy the boring lingering c**p and this will fail to reach a decent peak, however, i am praying and wishing to be proved wrong!!!!

How do you find the charts
Personally, I think the singles chart is incredibly boring at the moment. Having said this, single sales have increased significantly since the introduction of downloads. As mentioned, I am sick of seeing songs by aacts who have been in the charts for more than three montsh, constantly sticking around. I think that the stability of the charts is a good thing, however, I miss the old days, say early 2000's when a clearout week happened every now and again. More and more, that charts this year in particular are frustrating, the fact that acts like Last Shadow Puppets and other to name one example, that the download does well for a week, than by the physical the sales drop and their chart position is lower, yet for some reasons it is the likes of Nickleback and Scouting For girls, Timbaland, Usher, Take That, that constantly hover around the top 40 for week upon week, and the number of new entries entering the top 40 week on week is just downright depressing. In my opinion, the OCC need to relaunch the physical single, somehow altering the way in which people are able to get hold of music, I hate the 24 hour music channels aswell because the same old songs get played to death, the same old songs people see on these channels are the ones that keep floating around in the charts. I can;t even buy a decent physical single from my local HMV anymore because the choice is rediculously poor so now I've had to resort to legally downloading my music. I much prefer the days when the charts were more unpredictable, I want to see the weeks where there are 14 new entries again, but I think I prefered the 'download entry 1 week proir to physical rule myself. (i dont think any of that makes sense but hey!!!!)

Indie Soundclash #2
I love the LSP, and the album is brilliant so thats where my vote goes...im still not sure on the Black Kids record, sometimes i like, other times it annoys the hell out of me
-
Original Or Cover = Tiny Dancer
Ill go for the marco demarck version, just cos i love the cheese, but the elton orignal is a good pop record

Dave's Brand Spanking New Singles Chart (Week 15: 24.04.08)
Welcome to another chart :yahoo: and another chart where I'm actually early!!!! I am currently on a 10 minute break from writing my 3000 word assignment for my project so I thought what better way to spend my 'revision' break than come and post another brilliant chart. Thank to everyone who commented and made noise about my chart last week. So, here's this weeks casualties: Dropouts 20 - Hercules and Love Affair featuring Anthony Hegarty - Blind {15 - 7 - 10 - 15 - 17 - 17 - 19 - 20} 19 - Goldfrapp - A&E {3 - 2 - 3 - 5 - 9 - 16 - 16 - 15 - 17 - 19} 18 - The Futureheads - The Beginning Of The Twist {2 - 5 - 6 - 11 - 15 - 18} Getting rid of these songs was the hardest clearout I've had to do for a long time, especially Goldfrapp, it's the song that ws playing when me and my girlfriend first got together so I do feel bad its gone (yeah, sad I know :P ). But, we do have three brilliant new entries debuting in my chart this week, including a third appearence this year from Adele, will she be able to get her first number 1, or will Sam Sparro make it 3 weeks consecultively at the top of my chart with the brilliant 'Black And Gold'? Expect strong competition from Madonna, September and Goldfrapp. That'll do for now, let's get straight into the top 20, as usual with the number 20 single having a video for you all to enjoy. But what track kicks us off this week????

iTunes Download Chart April 08
wow at last a clear out, getting rid of some of the deadwood at last, so pleased for wiley, however, unless this is a remix, he's going to do himself out of a number one because that seems to be the pattern, enter the download chart early, then by the physical release sales start to fall don't like the script song, its too bland imo, very happy with pendulum though!!!! and woo, usher going down and flo-rida, yay!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Box Breakers April!
why do every usher videos have a break or a pointless bit that makes a 3 minute video last for almost 6 minutes (ok, slight exaggeration,) if LITC wasn't by usher i would buy it but as it would be giving him my hard earned money i refuse to do it haha, can u tell i hate the guy!!!!

The Buzzjack Hate Chart 66
5 - Chris Brown - With You 4 - Timbaland - Apologise 3 - Nickleback - Rockstar 2 - Soulja Boy - Crank That 1 - Scouting For Girls - Heartbeat (5pts)
-
Basshunter- Please Don't Go
I'm going to throw this in there, but i quite like it!!!! Infact I think I may be the only person on this site to like it  But I can see this charting ok, with a decent release date, however, I do agree that Basshunter is obviously a one trick pony, in that this is an identical version of NYG, so maybe a top 20 peak or a scrape into the top 40, who knows, cos Hard2Beat are doing incredibly well right now, could this be their first non top 10????
-
Mystery Jets 'Two Doors Down' ıı 02 June 2008
heard it for the first time today, love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i do prefer 'Young Love' though, but this track is a real grower and I know ill love it even more after a few listens However, unless Radio 1 actually put this onto the C-List at least than this will flop big time, 'Young Love' only made to the One Upfront list which was criminal, Jo Whiley loved it so why didnt it get higher???

Dr Who [Series 4]
This episode was an improvement on last week's muddled script, the story worked well and it was great to understand the Ood, even though I wasn't too sure what was going on. What I mean is, because we didn't see much of the Ood in the series 2 story I felt there was too much trying to get too much information into a one off episode...if that makes sense!!!! I love the episodes where the ending, the defeating of the baddie isn't just them dying or being blown up, the fact that teh Mr Halpen was turned into a creature was really nice, and it was a strong ending. Tim McInenney (I think thats how his name's spelt...oops!!) was a great villain and this was the strongest story so far in that the first episode was more of a lighthearted story and last week's script was slightly confused. Though, and this is where I have a bit of a rant (sorry!!) but Catherine Tate's performance in tonight's episode was fantastic, especially where she was in the Ood cage with the Doctor. Fair enough, the opening of the episode she was being a bit comedy/over-the-top performance but I thought this was her strongest performance so far. Until I watch the episode again tomorrow, I 'll give it 8/10
