  1. Yea, I think if theyd gone for 40 days and 40 Nights it could have done quite badly. Not that i dont like the song but this feels right especially with it being the title track from the album, could help sales towards xmas time (wishful thinking maybe!!??) This is definetly the best choice for the band, and ive had the pleasure of hearing this played live, its just beautiful, i dont care what anyone says but this lot really do get band of the year for me, the whole album could be released as singles because it is so good!!!!
  2. Robyn and Timbaland singles this week!!!!
  3. hi mikey, cheers for the smilies  makes a nice change haha!!!!

  6. no matter how good the track may be aatw will screw up the release so im going to say top 20, but i would hope for 7 - 10
  7. it is going to be very interesting to see how the artists do over the next few weeks because it could go either way but i want kylie to do well, think she'll get at least a number 1 single for a week with '2 Hearts' but then Spice's up till xmas, and leona should do well with the album but i think spices GH will sell loads, so im really not too sure on this one......

  9. A very big week for new releases for you in this week's chart. As already mentioned, a record 5 ( :o ) new entries appear this week and some big movers mean big falls and a massive clearout!!!! This week's statistics look like this: 5 New Entries 13 Songs Go Down 1 Song Climbs 1 Track Doesn't Move So, will Sugababes make it 4 weeks as my number 1, and match their run as on the offical UK top 40?? This week sees lots of movement, and the toughest top 10 ive had to compile, so its going to be tough... Find out later on, let's get into the chart now: Dropouts 20 - The Pigeon Detectives - Take Her Back {8 - 12 - 13 - 13 - 12 - 13 - 17 - 20 - 17 - 18 - 20} 19 - Hi-Tack - Let's Dance {9 - 9 - 13 - 16 - 19} 18 - David Guetta featuring Chris Willis - Love Is Gone {5 - 10 - 8 - 9 - 11 - 15 - 14 - 14 - 15 - 18} 17 - Hard-Fi - Suburban Knights {6 - 4 - 4 - 3 - 5 - 8 - 12 - 12 - 14 - 17} 15 - The Freaks - The Creeps (Get On The Dancefloor) {18 - 10 - 5 - 4 - 7 - 10 - 10 - 12 - 15} 20-11 20 - Lethal Bizzle - Police On My Back {10 - 10 - 20} 19 - Timbaland featuring Keri Hilson and DOE - The Way I Are {1 - 2 - 1 - 1 - 3 - 3 - 3 - 5 - 7 - 8 - 8 - 10 - 11 - 11 - 13 - 16 - 19} 18 - The Enemy - Had Enough {9 - 18} 17 - The Enemy - Away From Here {8 - 17} 16 - M.I.A. - Jimmy {4 - 7 - 12 - 16} 15 - Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip - The Beat That My Heart Skipped {2 - 4 - 8 - 9 - 9 - 13 - 15} 14 - Timbaland featuring One Republic - Apologise {14} fm0T7_SGee4 13 - Robyn - Handle Me {13} x4UHNhVSrEM 12 - Axwell featuring Max'C - I Found U {4 - 3 - 2 - 4 - 3 - 5 - 7 - 7 - 8 - 11 - 12} 11 - The Enemy - You're Not Alone {2 - 6 - 8 - 11 - 4 - 11} 10 - 1 10 - Mark Ronson featuring Amy Winehouse - Valerie {5 - 6 - 6 - 6 - 10} 9 - Robyn with Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat {1 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 5 - 7 - 9} 8 - Peter, Bjorn and John featuring Victoria Bergsman - Young Folks {1 - 2 - 3 - 3 - 5 - 8} 7 - Mutya Buena - Just A Little Bit {7} -E1gZf6kHPA 6 - The Wombats - Let's Dance To Joy Division {3 - 6} gyCi4CMD29w 5 - Ida Corr Vs Fedde Le Grand - Let Me Think About It {14 - 1 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 5} 4 - Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love {4} sF84pIhP5UM 3 - Britney Spears - Gimme More {3} m3ceCMpPJgc 2 - Freemasons featuring Bailey Tzuke - Uninvited {14 - 2} J8ydHhuCH_0 1 - Sugababes - About You Now {10 - 6 - 3 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 1} QPPgHlh1PVI Chart Stats and Facts Number 1 This Week: Sugababes are #1 again this week with 'About You Now', despite some serious competition!! 10. Hey guys, thanks to everyone for posting their comments, really appreciate it, glad to see people are liking my music and my charts, makes me happy
  11. 100% totally agree with that, its all about making xmas cmmercial, the fun of the xmas #1 has long since died, bring back slade and wizzard, the time when a proper xmas song would actually do well, instead of frickin evil simon cowell ruining xmas
  12. again, as much as id love it to happen it wont, itll be x factor at #1 (which makes me wanna puke), spicves still top 2 maybe and as usual all the cheesy xmas songs which make xmas that little more less cynical and cherful will all struggle to get top 745 let alone top 40  -_-
  13. maybe next week, wishful thinking
  14. Sugababes, only because i havent heard spice girls one much yet and the others, especially that aly and aj are just a bit meh!

After the genius of the 'We Are Your Friends', in comparison, this track is awful, the vocals kill the song for me and the video is really really annoying to me...a big letdown, but as its a dance track it would be nice to see ti get top 40, but with some big tracks out in the next few weeks im not so sure...
  18. Just singles this week: Freemasons ft Bailey Tzuke - Uninvited Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love Britney Spears - Gimme More
  19. heard this for the first time today on Heart (my freeview was playing up ) and i was very impressed, a definite grower but emma and mel c sound brilliant on the track, shame theyre solo careers havent faired better but its got to be a definite #1 especially as its for Children In Need Sales wise, im thinking possibly 200k and possibly a challenge for biggest seller of the year
  20. McFly easily, top 3 will have Britters, Leona and Take That, the artists that will sell well physically and online
  21. ive not seen, or intend to see, this weeks midweeks but im thinking 90 - 100k quite easily, maybe more
  22. Its no secret i hate mcfly and i really dont like using BJ to post stuff about htem because it just encourages them to make more c**p music, but i jusy happened to find this article and i thought i needed to share it, but i promise NO MORE MCFLY RELATED HATE ON BJ!!!! (well, at least not until the next single......) BTW, the writing in brackets is mine, from my perspective if u like!!) McFly defend musical credentials    Monday, October 22 2007, 09:30 BST By Dave West McFly have defended their musical credentials after Louis Walsh said they just "jump around the stage with silly haircuts". (very accurate i think you'll agree!!) Bassist Dougie Poynter responded to the music mogul's recent comments: "What he said really baited me. "He was saying that we don't plug in and play but that's exactly what we've been doing since day one." Bandmate Danny Jones added: "It's just childish. We've been playing since we were six and could go up against a lot of the bands these days and give them a run for their money." (just a shame that every other bands fans actually buy their records the week after they chart!!!!) McFly were speaking at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards UK ceremony where they won best band (i dont really know whats the funniest part oof the article is...oh wait yeah i do!!). Feel free to chat amongst yourselves, and i swear i will never post anymore mcfly associated stuff unless its really really good, like theyre splitting up and dissapearing into the black hole!!!! :cheer: :cheer:, oh and its from digitalspy btw!!!!

  24. freemasons are doomed...saw the single advertised online at £1.99..my hmv is selling it for £3.99 no way am i paying that for a single, they will drop on sunday but top 5 seems unlikely. looks like loena could be #1 this week and :cheer: at mcfly being #62 on this itunes chart, shame they sell more physically, but this weeks chart is going to be very very very close
  25. damn it, 2nd last week, 26th this week, im like a frickin yoyo...grrrrrr!!!!!!
