Hello to everyone and welcome to the brand new countdown :cheer: Apologies for a lack of chart action last week, but I have been so busy working and earning money that I didn't have time to post the chart. To catch up, last week The Noisettes claimed their 3rd week at number which gives them the title of longest running number one of 2009 so far. but can they make it to 4 weeks this afternoon. New entries last week included Britney Spears, Bat For Lashes, Depeche Mode, Tinchy Strider and Ercola, as well as a re-entry for T.I. Apparently, this is the official video for the track, which i think is correct seeing as the track has a release date of May 25th but anyway... c3F5VN6XYhs If this IS the official video, then I think it is amazing, beautiful and fits the track perfectly, it looks too good and cinematic to be a fake video, but what does everyone think, I really would love for thi to get to number 1 but if it doesn't get top 40 at least, I will be devastated, easily best song of 2009 so far for me

Shame about Ercola, maybe some sales could improve as we head towards the weekend maybe???? Otherwise a fairly dull chart this week, I hate Eminem and Asher Roth and Kings of Leon have overstayed their welcome big time

Release, subject to possible change, has been confirmed as MAY 25TH 2009!!!! I'm glad they are releasing it then cos I was expecting a July/August release but maybe they want to get album sales up I want this tack to do so well, fingers crossed for an amazing video and a top 40 placing at least, this record deserves to be HUGE!!!!!

Totally didn't see that coming but I'm thrilled, at last a great new band getting some recognition from the sheep like British public Fingers crossed for number one on Sunday, that would make my year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best song of 2009 so far for me, I love this song so much, just imagine how good it would sound in the summer if we have decent weather, absolutely mesmerizing Can anyone recommend the album, cos I don't know whether to buy this track on it own or go all out and get the whole album

This song is amazing, I absolutely love the track and hope that given the right promo this could easily be a massive summer hit, I imagine the release date would be about June or July Quite possibly, this track could be my fave of 2009 already I love it THAT much And I agree, Royksopp definetly belong in the dance forum :lol:

The Noisettes are number one this week and set a brand new record climb to tnumber one, climbing a massive 35 places to go to the top of the chart. If Noisettes single and Pet Shop Boys album could be number one by Sunday I will be so happy, it would be the best thing to happen all year lol Shame about the Comic Relief singles falling so fast but it was to be expected, quite an exciting chart, I'm still in shock over Lady GaGa getting her number one!!!!!
