Music Purchases This Week: Week Beginning 8/10/07
Just Lethal Bizzle and MIA singles this week no sign of Sonny J this week......) I looked at the Sugababes album too...for about 1 hour in HMV, im sure they thought i was gonna steal a copy  but i really cant spend any more money on albums, the radio 1 album cost £12 otherwise i would have left it but it was too good, i will try and wait until xmas...its gonna be hard...wish me luck!!!!

The Buzzjack Hate Chart 39
5 - Lil Chris 4 - Aly and AJ 3 - 50 Cent 2 - Sean Kingston 1 - Shayne Ward 5PTS(on the chart show some idiot text in to scott saying 'hope shaynes number one cos hes fit'...as if thats a reason for a c**p song to be at number one...just shows what a state the charts are in and the mentally challenged people who are buying this c**p)
-
What will the album sell in the First Week?
yea, im going for 60-70k and if it sells any less i wont be veyr happy at all of course 200k would be pretty nice, but then i guess we can all dream but could they do the double for a second time and get #1 album and #1 single as with TIMW????
-
Which Song Deserved More
FMH, because it was their best ballad on the TIMW album and deserved way better than #32, should have easily been top 15 at best, what with it being the 4th relase release but thats what you get for relasing a ballad in the middle of the world cup season
-
Album with the best singles?
TIMW easily, probably thier best album so far, however, i will reserve judgement until i hear 'Changes'
-

Yea, dont forget that Scott Mills will be playing the world exclusive of '2 Hearts' first on Radio 1, Wednesday morning (worth staying in bed for methinks), and will be his record of the week for thursday and friday!!!! Apparently Scott said this morning that hes heard 2/3 new tracks off of the album and that they are amazing, so will be very interested to hear the new material!!!!

Robyn, "Handle Me" [2nd Single]
yea, heard this for the first time this morning, and while nothing will be a patch on WEH for me, this is still an incredibly well produced pop song, so much better than the drivel that the likes of westlife/mcs**t/shayne ward are releasing thats selling undeservedly well (grrrr.........)

-
Sugababes on Radio 1 after 12pm
As much as I would have prefered them to cover Robyn's track, I think they did an amazing version of 'Hey There Delilah'. And the ballad style of 'About You Now' was a real goosebumps moment, might try and get to see them on tour next year if i can afford it  Bring on the album!!!!

Ida Corr vs Fedde Le Grande - Let Me Think About It
just found this on the Ministry of Sound website, thought ud like to see: Hey, big news for our team on Data Records this morning is that our new single has reached number 5 in the UK chart this week! Hot on the heels of winning an Ibiza DJ Award for Best Breakthrough, Fedde Le Grand's massive new track with hot vocalist Ida Corr, Let Me Think About It, sees him notch up another major success. The track made history last week, by reaching number 64 on the official chart from downloads by mobile phone alone! It's mad to think that phones are becoming so important for getting songs into ther charts, but I suppose this is only the beginning. It's really exciting. Well done to Fedde and everyone behind the tune for making it such a smash!!
-
M.I.A. - "Jimmy"

Ida Corr vs Fedde Le Grande - Let Me Think About It
ive always been sceptical about the midweeks, because who knows what will happen by sunday, but fingers crossed for number 2, even though number 3 would be just as brilliant *crosses fingers for number2*
