NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! They cannot kill Barnaby off that just cant happen, I think they could give the character either a really light hearted farewell or maybe imply that the killer in that episode wants a deadly revenge on Barnaby and maybe attacks the family, but no way can any of the Barnaby family die!!! I do agree with the villages, all the new places like Calham Cross, Midsomer Sonning and the worst, Dunstan, not exactly believeable when they have to keep inventing and expanding the county of Midsomer, but I suppose it needs to happen

Afternoon and welcome to my brand new top 40 singles chart!!!!! A brand new week and I'm not going to waffle on for ages, basically in the chart this week there are 3 brand new entries and 2 re-entries, as well as 2 massive climbers from the Prodigy and Friendly Fires. But can Alesha Dixon make it to a third week at number one???? There is a new entry quite early in but firt at number 40 its the longest runner in the countdown for Guru Josh Project, and a massive 16 weeks in the chart!!!! Let's get on with it then......

From Digital Spy: Nettles quits 'Midsomer Murders' Thursday, February 12 2009, 10:50 GMT By Alex Fletcher, Senior Entertainment Reporter Rex Features John Nettles has quit ITV murder mystery series Midsomer Murders after 13 years on the show. Nettles, 66, has played Detective Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby for 65 episodes. His final scenes are scheduled to air in 2011, according to The Sun. "It's the end of an era for me, and while I'm very sad to be handing in Barnaby's police badge, he has solved nearly 200 murders, which I think meets the targets of modern policing," said Nettles. "I wish my successor the very best." The programme will continue without Nettles, but ITV chief Laura Mackie said that the actor would be "missed" and "remembered fondly" by all involved in the show. "John has been instrumental in creating a much-loved character and a hugely successful long-running series for ITV," she said. I love the show and for me this is a sad day, I've loved MM since day one and have watched every episode. I don't think Barnaby can be replaced, as far as I'm concerned the show can't continue without John Nettles and 13 years would probably be a great landmark to end the series but I don't think ratings will continue to be as strong without Nettles or Barnaby Anyone else have any thoughts or opinions????

I love this show, wasn't sure if I'd like it when I read about but the last two weeks, it doesn't feel like an hour long programme it feels so quick, and very dark the characters are very good and the actors do a very good job I do also think it could be the commander character who is the killer but I don't know, it could end up that the ripper might not get caught as they keep referring to the historical fact that Jack was never caught It is strange watching the location shots as I worked in the area on a few occassions and know it quite well

Loved 'Pieces' and now loving this track, as has already been said, its not doing much on itunes atm but seeing as its not released till the 23rd it could still gain enough momentum to scrape top 40, fingers crossed

Love this, much better than the first two singles, intrigued to see what Tinchy Strider would bring to the track, but still loving this all the same

I heard this track for the first time today and I have fallen in love with it!!!! And I'm not ashamed to say that I have loved alot of PSB's material since I was a kid, they have released some corkers but this has to be up there with their best However, I will be intrigued to see how this performs in the chart, seeing as physicals have slumped and it was their physicals that were stronger in the first week followed by massive drops, but I would hope it could get top 5, should easily get top 40 with or without Radio support

Apparently, just heard on Chris Moyles' show that two members of The Saturdays, Frankie and Molly, will be live on the show on Monday....... Which can only mean one thing...FIRST PLAY OF THE COMIC RELIEF SINGLE!!!!!!!
