I think overtaking Dua and some if not all of the Taylor songs is very possible, Karma dropped 45 spots to #52 on Spotify today - so there's no way that will hold so high. Either way top 20 is a great result, and with the CDs next week, top 10 isn't that unreasonable. I'm trying not to get ahead of myself but for this to be her highest entry since All the Lovers is just insane. I do wonder how Kylie is taking this, it must definitely be unexpected for BMG. Particularly after all the talk of them reframing Kylie's vision of success in the Golden and Disco eras, to have an actual bonafide hit single must seem unreal. :dance: Edit: Also I did think first look would be off because of the bank holiday? You're right, I had assumed it was a run of 4k limited to the UK. I've checked and it was 2,525 for SS and 1,923 for Magic in Disco release week, apologies for the misinformation!!

If anyone has any idea how many downloads it had, I doubt that will have increased too significantly, then we could probably guestimate a new total sales figure with this plus the 4k vinyl sold on Disco release week?

This is crazy!! Wasn't expecting to open the Spotify chart and see Kylie as the biggest gainer today! Obviously its buoyed by sales this week, but if this can stabilise on Spotify, even if its not top 100, then this would probably be her first song to have a proper OCC chart run since Dancing / Into the Blue ... truly unexpected but so deserved! :cheer: Edit: Just checked and if this can make the weekly UK Spotify chart come Friday (at this rate, it absolutely can and will), then this will be her first ever non-Christmas song to do that. Even Dancing just had one day at #77 and didn't make the week chart!

Anyone got any predictions for the numbers of the DISCO singles? Hoping that we'll get some official word with the new era, but I'm wondering if we'll see any of them get silver. They've racked up a decent number of Spotify streams - with all versions combined, around 52m for Real Groove, 45m for Magic, 37m for Say Something, 29m for A Second to Midnight. Considering Dancing has around 37m and has been silver for ages, hopefully some of these won't be far from that magic 200k?

Another Spotify numbers update, this time numbers as of Friday 13 August. I wasn't sure whether to post this as a reply here or to open a new post, apologies if this is the wrong place. I noticed that a lot of the songs are split across many, many versions, so I included the numbers of any remixes, radio edits and studio-recorded live versions (aka everything but the tour album live versions). My favourite song here is Into the Blue, I didn't know about the whole iTunes mess, it's a real shame if that did cost it a better position. However, I voted for Get Outta My Way since I think it's the one that should have been a top 10 the most: it feels by far the most iconic song on the list and it's still so remembered that it's just weird that it wasn't a top 10 smash. It streams better than All the Lovers and I think the two songs have similar recognition, so it would be nice for it to have been a #5 hit or around.
