I don't think Joe is going to touch Alexandra's sales. X Factor will never be as huge as it was when JLS and Alex contested the final. To be honest, I am not a big fan of Alexandra, but she was incredible with Beyonce and when singing her winner's song. Joe looked mediocre in comparison. This year's song is also about three hundred times worse.
  2. Choice of singles three and four suggest they only care about the album. The album is up 7 this week :)
  3. Surprised you don't like her considering your love for, and her friendship with, K$.
  4. Hopefully Pixie can somehow get Top 10 witth this in 2010.
  5. I had no idea how terrible the chart run for EIL was

This is slightly off topic, but XF got 'low' ratings because it was the penultimate Saturday before Christmas and most people are going out around this time of year. The figures will be much higher tonight. I think Cheryl did well to get that many viewers, she is often overestimated on here. I am surprised Cheryl is thinking of leaving XF though. Shame 'The Climb' will be #1. Really terrible song.
  7. 'Single Ladies'...? I voted 'She Wolf' :)
  8. Little Boots?

'Parachute' is the best track on Cheryl's album and is a great choice for 3rd single. 3W still hasn't clicked at all with me!
  10. I think that physicals are a huge help to some campaigns, but there is no point if the act will reach an equal peak without them. For example, I am surprised that Pixie dropped the CMO physical, because it probably could have clinched her Top 10. For the BAG push, she signed hundreds of physicals at HMV stores in release week and that was what edged her the #1. For new acts, it is often useful for a debut single to have a physical due to the exposure in shops. As an artist gets bigger and bigger, physicals become less significant. :) :P :D

Ke$ha is going to be huge. Everything sounds amazing. Please let her label release everything properly now! 'TiK ToK' would have been #1 if they hadn't put it on iTunes so early...

    Same here, if possible :)

Tuesday mids don't really reflect much if there is a big physical contender. Peter Kay is obviously going to have sold fewer on Sunday than Gaga.

Daisy Dares You has been floating around for ages. I wonder if they will push her properly, or just give her 50% effort...

To have all those characters from British TV history together in one video is quite a special thing. Older adults are buying copies for a guilty pleasure, younger adults are buying copies for charity, and children are driving sales for parents.

I think Pixie could actually go Top 10 this week! Please say X Factor Finalists drop loads...

It isn't going to flop, that is for sure. Sales will be low, so I will say Top 5 just because it is AB. This song has Alesha Dixon written all over it.

One thing everyone should have learnt this year - never underestimate Gaga or X Factor. It is probable that Gaga will be #1, and Janet will go Top 40. Roll on the midweeks on Tuesday

Too slow to get Top 10 though :)

    Janet #111 with 'Make Me'

    Janet #114

Thanks for the pop bars. Pixie is looking good... can't wait until Paloma is in the Top 40!
  23. No! Thank god it wasn't some cheap, generic Christmas video in which she wore a cheap red trench coat (see 'Issues' video), a wooly hat and some 'cute' little wellies. The video is taking her in a better direction than before, even if this single will suffer a little because of it. I love ESoM still
  24. Top 10 next week... please! I think it is going to outsell 'Boys and Girls', but 'Mama Do' is nearly at 300k, so that will be pretty tough for a third single.

I meant as far as new entries go in the iTunes chart. It is pretty much going to stay as it is, other than internal shifting.
