I used to live near Exeter and the trains around the area are very quick (and direct) to London! Give it try, it's worth it. I'm sure they will! It's also on the radio and will be televised next week!

I wouldn't say the sales are low, but no signings is never a valid reason for low sales. Signings for singles are just to secure #1 when it could go either way, they aren't a staple for every single campaign. I think that JLS have a lot of casual fans who aren't relaly aware of the album, and just like the song. Their other fans are crazy and buy the singles and the albums - download and physical! The real reason sales may be lower than expected is because the song is substandard.

Isn't inside the Top 100 yet? I seem to have heard it so many times on the radio today!

The record label did their best to keep her very quiet with regards to interviews, gigs, TV or radio prior to her campaign. The poll probably didn't do too much digging.

I don't care if Miley is Top 10, but Ke$ha's song is massive and will be in the Top 10 this week. She has four days, and I think she could be outselling Miley 2:1 by Saturday.

I think she will do 40 - 50k on physical week - the song is just in a different league to the previous two, and the promo will, as always, be heavy. I wonder where the album will recover to though...

    1. Ambition wise, I'm sure she doesn't really care about having a #1 as a featured artist 2. It's probably not going to happen though. 3. Very true. I predict - 2 of the Top 10 selling singles of 2010, and a #1 album.

Thank you for that link, and what an amazing picture of her!
  9. JLS are very popular, but I don't think the majority of their "fans" are willing to buy the album until it's £5.99 in a sale next year. I guess some of these people are balanced out by the crazy fans who want the album with each cover case though! Robbie has an incredible track record - all his albums have reached #1, and that is where this will debut.

Ke$ha will be Top 10 tomorrow morning, if not this evening.

I voted Top 3. It's not the toughest of weeks when the phyiscal drops.

'TiK ToK' is the best example in ages of a song that will rocket up when it reaches the Top 10. The added exposure will mean so much for her, because I'm sure that loads of people who love the song don't know it's out yet. I'm pretty sure she will be the Top 10 Official Chart this week, and Top 3 next week. Sorry Sugababes/Britney! :w00t: Pixie :o :o :o  :w00t: I just hope CMO doesn't peak before the physical!

    #56 :)
  16. I'm happy for Leona, Pixie and Sugababes :)

Lily. Gaga would be a wasted vote as there is no chance she won't win this anyway.

She could have had an incredible debut single with a big budget. Instead, she has had to go down the average and generic, but decent route. I really respect her for actually sticking at it though, and hope she can scrape Top 30. I think she will just miss out though - #32.

Laura is a massive surprise! I thought it had flop written all over it! It's also nice to see Pixie rising like this. I had not expected her to climb so fast! '3 Words' hasn't clicked at all with me yet. I keep thinking I'm hearing 'Love Lockdown' (minus the amazing chorus) by Kanye West! Expect 'Empire State of Mind' to start climbing again, the video has been released today! Very impressed with it to be honest.

Pixie is #62 with 'Cry Me Out'. I think that's a very solid start to say she isn't on video or radio airplay Top 50. Hopefully she won't peak before her physical week though!

Go Pixie! CMO is hopefully going to keep those copies selling! The Saturdays  - oh dear!

Can they just release 'Happy' now? It would still get there easy!

I really want to love this song because I am such a fan of hers, but I really don't like it! :(

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but EIL is going to be one of the most generic #1s of all time. It's amazing that they are going to have two chart toppers with such average songs. There have been many number ones that I think to be "average" this year, but there have always been a few people who love them. This, however, seems to have no one who actually really loves it, just people who like it as a throwaway pop track. I don't mind JLS, I just find it odd.

They were added at 11.30 PM - so they have had a few more minutes. I think that their pre-orders are always going to be huge so I'm surprised, but it's not too shocking! Certainly looking strong for #1.
