BRIT Awards
Little Boots and Bat For Lashes have no chance of nominations for best female.

Alexandra Burke - Overcome
I love 'All Night Long' and 'You Broke My Heart'. Wrong choice of second single, for me

Poll : Predict - KeSha 'Tik Tok'
Leona will still be high but not #1, and Sugababes & Subo won't be in contention. I'm not sure Britney and Alesha will really take off. Westlife can reach the top spot when there aren't any epic songs being released, but this is going to be everywhere by November. It will probably be between Gaga and Ke$ha, and I think people really want something fresh and will find it in 'Tik Tok'. Very high selling week though, Pixie and Jay-Z also have physicals out.

Poll : Predict - KeSha 'Tik Tok'
The record label seem to be giving it a little nudge, and she's coming to the UK for promo soon... #1 :yahoo: :w00t: :yahoo:

Jessie Malakouti
Truly hilarious live. It was more like she was supporting Pixie, supporting The Saturdays. The song is pretty good though!

Pixie Lott - Turn It Up
I think 'Cry Me Out' and 'Jack' are the two to show off her vocal talents. I am soooooooo excited about this video :cheer:

Cheryl is being so underestimated. She will be #1 and will sell way in excess of 100k! I'm not a big fan, but there is no denying that the public love her, and the song. I have seen Ke$ha's video non stop... surely it will be #1 if it keeps getting spins!

There is no question that Robbie will top the physical chart this week. Record stores aren't thinking about who is most popular, they are thinking about who the artists appeal to. Robbie's market is made up of those less likely to download, and because he has been around to long, he has fans who like to collect all his physical releases. Alexandra's market is made up of those who download music every week, and rarely buy physicals. It doesn't make any difference though, Alexandra probably has it wrapped up with the downloads - :( - I still can't believe they released 'Bad Boys' instead of some of the great material on her album!

Alex was better than Robbie tonight, but I was quite disappointed with both. I guess Alexandra was expected to somehow emulate 'Listen' of last year, and she couldn't! I hope Robbie wins this battle, but I'm not so sure he will... although his physicals will be much stronger!

Buble is famous for gaining huge support from commercial radio stations :)

I don't think JLS have a very strong chance of #1. Cheryl and Alex are both going to be selling way more than JLS ever could, and YSR are rumoured to be going crazy on promo in their second week. I still oubt they could do it, Cheryl is too strong.

      How do I get my old iTunes! Nooooooooooooo! I think Cheryl will beat Alex next week. FFTL combines the big name with an iconic pop song. I'm not a big fan of Cheryl, but I know a great track when I hear one!

Any sign of Stephen Gately anywhere?

Too early to tell anything. Sales so far are only from pre-orders and a few random sales.

New Release Schedule (Physical): Monday 12 October
Cheryl will destroy YSR in week one, but hopefully they can sneak up in week two... ... just checked the release schedule for 26th October - I doubt anyone can beat the might of Bubbel G :P

X Factor: The Live Shows
'I Gotta Feeling' group performance - NO! If it climbs again I will go crazy! Media frenzy over the Dannii comment... oh dear!

iTunes Chart // October I
Unless I have missed something, the campaign budgets for Alex and Robbie seem quite similar. X Factor could easily favour either one of them, but they are choosing to go with Robbie. Tomorrow night, I also anticipate Alexandra will steal the show, unless Robbie performs right at the start and end of the programme.

X Factor seem to be pushing Robbie way more than Alex. I think it's going to be a lot closer than everyone thinks, and I really hope Robbie gets it! :)

X Factor: The Live Shows
Dannii could have just lost her job! I really hope so because I dislike her anyway! The standard is so average this year... Lloyd was pure cringe!

Pixie Lott - Turn It Up
Hopefully there is an actual scene of her dancing alone, like Beyonce in 'Halo'! 'Mama Do' was simple dancing, and 'Boys & Girls' was great but they chopped all the footage up! Obviously, that was needed for such a party track, but I want this to have more set scenes! Fingers crossed the music channels get it in the next week! :w00t:

Pixie Lott - Turn It Up
I guess they've had the sexy video and the party video, so want a serious effort now. Second picture looks like there will be a bit of dancing  !!

I'm praying MJ releases the single this week and the album later! The Saturdays... :o
