It's pretty obvious that Eva was signed on the back of one song. The label may try and push a few more singles on the UK and US, but it won't work if they rush the whole project. You can't just choose a group of "good songs" for an album of this kind - Eva isn't your ordinary artist and will need a crop of songs that have EVA SIMONS written all over them to be a success. However long she's been working alone, it should take the best part of a year to get everything in place for a big launch. If they do push the releases back to next year, she might stand a chance.

When the album is out, she will have been signed to the label less than 6 months - that is not "taking their time", it's going as fast as they can while ensuring the album will have at least 1 other average song on. It will most likely be 'Silly Boy' and 10 fillers. Shame.

Pushed back to October - probably because many of the artists are abroad at the moment and couldn't do UK promo! I thought I read that Pixie and VV were in the USA in October but I must be wrong!

I've seen 'Outta Here' quite a lot on TV.

As I've said before, Pixie and Tinchy could have 3 as they are both part of this charity single which will no doubt reach #1.

This is such a good chart. It's so cute how you all make your little charts though!

No. The chart is a joke, but not that much of a joke.

I'm sure your contribution will make a difference in the chart.

Can't someone just record and series link it? I would do that but I'm too lazy! :P

There is no need to worry about where ANY Lady Gaga song will chart at the moment. The UK, along with the rest of the world, loves her. Anyway, "Young Soul Rebels - I Got Soul" has been pushed to October [source: Official War Child Website]. It was just a matter of time before they pushed it back, it's probably not even been finished!

She's great, 'Energy' is awful. The video is just a joke.

I want it to be awful and flop. They can be successful after that.

I love her.

This forum is great, but it's interesting how an artist that is liked can get away with "generic", but an artist with a little less influence is slated for the same thing! Anyway, I love this song, I love 'My Man' and I hope she doesn't flop. (However, if the album is full of songs like these I will not buy it - can only take so much!)

When do you think this "Guettakon" song will peak? I hope it prevents Dizzee from reaching #1! (Incredibly wishful thinking there!)

If 4music or Channel 4 get to premiere a video, it becomes their video of the week and therefore top of their charts! It happened with th Sugababes last week, and Gaga this week.

I agree. The songs sound like the work of a few inexperienced teenagers who've managed to get a great voice to record their tracks.

I don't like La Roux, but this song isn't too bad. It's better than a few of her others. Release seems quite soon considering few people will have heard it. I think people will get tired of her voice after this, if they are not already.

She's great, but these songs do nothing for her. I really hope she doesn't release any of them. They would sell, but she wouldn't be a superstar!

I love this version of 'Band Aid' after hearing the live one about a million times! They will probably do a deluxe version and I'm guessing it might have live tracks on...? Maybe not, but I'm sure it will grow on you in full! I'm still so excited... 'My Love' is already a classic!

I agree and also think your scoring of the tracks is pretty accurate. Although 'Gravity' and 'My Love' have US hit written all over them!

I think I'm going to do both! Have you heard 'My Love'? It's my favourite song ever written and I've only hear 30 seconds of it! 'Band Aid' also sounds amazing!

OMG PRE-ORDER ON ITUNES NOW! SOUNDS AMAZING! NOOOOOOO THIS IS TOOOOO GOOD!
