Artists who chart better when they are a "featuring artist"
Chipmunk.

iTunes Chart: February 2010 Pt. II
I am not a Bey or Gaga loon, but no one write off 'Telephone'. Both artists produce consistently exceptional videos, which have always proven to boost their songs to an extent with is not seen with other acts. The song will infect and dominate both airplay charts in a few weeks, and the song will reap the rewards.

Pixie Lott - Turn It Up
You are in luck - she has just said that it will be half UK TIU and half new tracks! I know what you mean about filler-ish tracks, although they are all solid, the record label seemed keen to display some of the songs she did before she was 16/17. US album will probably be 12 hits.

Pixie Lott - Turn It Up
She is in LA, and has confirmed some people she is writing with - Toby Gad, Ruth Anne Cunningham, Plain White Tees, Joe Jonas, Andre Merritt, Steve Kipner and Wayne Wilkins. I expect big things from the US album!

iTunes Chart: February 2010 Pt. II
The weekend is an unpredictable time for newer tracks, but it will rise next week.
-
Pixie Lott - Gravity
How can you slate her team? Her campaign has gone completely to plan, and her album has never been selling better. Those singles will probably both be released. She has said that they want to release as many singles as possible.

Pixie Lott - Gravity
It is starting to grow on me again. Making progress on iTunes now - nearly Top 100.

iTunes Chart: February 2010
Apparently she has tonsillitis and bronchitis, again. She needs a break.

iTunes Chart: February 2010
Pixie's label have been pretty flawless so far, so there must be a reason she performed CMO. Would be nice for it to outsell the previous two singles.

Girls Can't Catch · The Debut Album
If there is a third single, there will be an album the next week. It is all or nothing. They couldn't finalise all the artwork, tracklistings, printing, distribution and promo for the album, and then just decide to not release it based on the single.

Pixie Lott - Gravity
I think 'Jack' would be perfect for a 'Single Ladies' style video.

Top 75 Singles/Albums Chart + Comps
Chipmunk's album is doing terribly for a former #2.
-
iTunes Chart: February 2010
Maybe Pixie is singing CMO because it is nearly Valentine's Day. I guess it is more fitting than 'Gravity' for that! US is #227, having been out of the Top 300 before.
-
iTunes Chart: February 2010
No idea. There is no justification for doing CMO. It has been charting since November, whereas 'Gravity' needs a big push. It would also keep selling the album just as much.

iTunes Chart: February 2010
'Cry Me Out' will rise later as Pixie is singing it on DOI tonight.
-
Pixie Lott - Gravity
Video added to first post. Hopefully this will keep her album selling, because it won't do that much as a single.
-
Pixie Lott - Gravity
She looks  in the video, but it's not her best.
-
Pixie Lott - Gravity
Only a few days until the video starts getting airplay! Not sure that radio has really started yet (although C-List on Radio 1) so it will be interesting to see this rising on iTunes. I think the lack of airplay at the moment might benefit this in the end. (Here We Go Again >>>>>>>> Turn It Up >>>) Gravity >> Cry Me Out >>> Boys and Girls >>>>>> Mama Do

Sunday Chart Predictions
Thank you :) I was getting a little worried for a second!

Sunday Chart Predictions
I hope Ke$ha can reclaim Top 5 with the weekend sales. With Pixie, should the 19 be 9, or is she just dropping really quickly? Thanks :)

VV Brown 'Shark in the Water' || Summer 2009
This release is too rushed. You need months of preparation in the US.

iTunes Chart: February 2010
How annoying that K$ won't get the #1 again, despite huge sales. Of course, sales are what we want to see her touring and promoting, but it would be nice if she had the biggest seller for a few weeks. I don't think there are actually many more commercial songs on her album, YLIMD and TT are the only two. Love it or hate it, BBB will be everywhere.
-
Kesha - Animal + Cannibal
BBB and TT would have both been UK #1s if RCA hadn't made a mess of the releases. The sales will be huge for both, of course. 'Animal' probably won't clinch the #1, although I want it to. iTunes is around 10-15% of total weekly album sales for pop artists, so the physical retailers are those to look out for
-
Diana Vickers - Once
Love the instrumental middle eight, and the final chorus, but the rest is a little thin and lacking.
-
Kesha - Animal + Cannibal
I think this will go to #1 eventually.
