 That is terrible. Let's hope Single 3 starts selling it

I disagree. Sugababes have easily reached Top 10 with their last two, and they will promo like crazy if they are releasing the album of the back of it. Pixie released her last single in late November, early December, when sales are so much higher that a third single has to be huge to crack the Top 10. February isn't quite the same.

Where is Wordshaker on iTunes albums? I know the numbers are tiny but it is an indication. I wonder if it will be Top 75 albums this week.

I'm sure they will put it down today or tomorrow :) I doubt they will keep their price £1 higher than Amazon or Tesco in January. £5.99 is such good value for any album

Reduced to £5.99 in most retailers :o :D

There is no question that JLS sell records based on their looks. That is probably their main selling point, and is a crucial part of being a boyband. The music is there, and is sold and consistent, but as long as they look fine, they will do fine. I don't think album sales will really hold them back on this one. No denying the album has done incredibly well, but there are always more people who haven't got it than have. Also, as has been said about 1,000 times, they have such dedicated fans who will not stop downloading it until it looks like it will get the #1. I'm sure they will also secure some huge promo for this, as they want to keep this string of #1 hits alive. Their chances have only increased with the early release of 'Owl City'. I think this can scrape it for one week.

 So true. If an album is going to be big, it will be big. The only way 'Animal' won't do amazingly is if they don't release it -_-

Pretty much every album gets reduced, so any album can benefit. It isn't like every other album has gone up in price, and Paolo and Flo are cheaper. I think it is pretty obvious why Flo is doing to well if you turn on a TV at any point this week.

Don't get your hopes up...

Alvin & The Chipmunks to sell a third of what Ke$ha will?

WOW Ke$ha, 'Your Love Is My Drug' is the best on the album, but BBB should be single #2.

Great for Alicia, and she is on Jonathan Ross in a few weeks so hopefully she can peak again :)

Timbaland wants to get her on one of his records and she is close friends with Ke$ha, so she could always launch with one of them. She is also launching on the back of that film. I think she will be like Natasha Bedingfield to be honest - fade out slightly in the UK, but be big in the US.

'Cry Me Out' is the sort of song America will love. It will probably be a buzz single, though, I imagine 'Turn It Up', 'Gravity' or 'My Love' will be the first single they want to be big. That article says she is writing with Toby Gad right now, so maybe a new single will come from there, as well. I don't think 'Here We Go Again' is right for the US until at least single two.

Why does this thread always get ruined? If you are having a petty argument with someone or sense one is about to arise, PM them to resolve it, don't take up page after page on here. Thank you.

If she releases any singles from TFM after 'Telephone', it is too early and people may just get sick of her. I can see the X Factor benefit, but I want Gaga to pace herself. At least we'll get more material though, she'll find a way to make it good ;)

Still not excited about her, or her album, and really want to be. Nothing is clicking with me about her.

Apparently performing on Jonathan Ross next Friday!

I wonder whether it will actually get the #1 in the US!

It is a tiny bit easier to change between country on iTunes 9. Only in the sense that you choose countries with the flag next to them  Don't get it.

Surprised her parents allowed those photos as official promos! Fair enough if it was for a magazine, but what if their little girl's album cover is a naked her other than tape? Whatever. The single cover needs to be softened, you can see the make up! She looks a lot like Demi Lovato in it, as well! Images aside, this sounds great, and I cannot wait to see her live and get her album.

She doesn't need the gimmick.

I'm sure black artists will feature, but if Alex and Leona are snubbed it will be because of their career backgrounds rather than their race. Little Boots, Pixie Lott and Flo + The Machine may be more likely to win awards because of their incredible graft in 2009. I know Alex and Leona have worked hard, but it takes so much more to come from nowhere to selling records. If The Noisettes were just whoever-that-girl-is + The Machine - she would be in the running, no question. I think Alex or Leona will win something, though.

Iyaz Is Pixie a non-mover in the albums?

The person who put down the 'Single Ladies' video just doesn't like Kanye :P - the actual song - 'Single Ladies' - wouldn't have gone Top 20 in the US without that video... but it went to #1.
