  1. Poor Gasolina </3 shouldn't have left before Hotel Room Service at least! (though I'll be here some time going for Anastacia x)
  2. Best: The Dixie Cups - Chapel Of Love Kyu Sakamoto - Ue O Muite Arukō [aka Sukiyaki] Mr. Acker Bilk and The Leon Young String Chorale - Stranger On The Shore Sœur Sourire [aka The Singing Nun] - Dominique The Tornados - Telstar Much as the Beatles were needed, none of them are quite my big favourites. Worst: Jimmy Soul - If You Wanna Be Happy Paul & Paula - Hey Paula Steve Lawrence - Go Away Little Girl For questionable/creepy lyrics all round x

Amazing for Linkin Park *.* There's a real chance they could get their highest charting single with this!
  4. Robbie, never liked this one, the chorus falls flat.

I wouldn't have had Queen ahead of the Beatles tbh nor that high last time, this one feels more apt, they are a great group who have recorded some all time classics and seemingly a unanimous answer to 'what is the best song of all time' with Bohemian Rhapsody, but their later material in particular lacked the innovation of some other greats. ...but still streets ahead of one certain group who really need to leave soon xx
  6. Sufjan finally qualifiying  I'm gonna run out of doomed nominations for next year at this rate
  7. Peter, Paul And Mary - Puff, The Magic Dragon The Ronettes - Be My Baby Skeeter Davis - The End Of The World
  8. I'm really impressed how true this stays to their sound and how the new vocalist fits in so well that you feel Chester's presence even still. Way better than I expected and great to see them carrying on.

Great showing there for The Beatles (I believe my highest vote remaining), guess that was helped by their 'comeback' last year. That was a good chance to get more into their discography, it is quite incredible how ahead of their time the songs still sound to this day.

  12. Completely forgot this was on oops, but a good inspired winner there. Really like the little I know from them.

Enough please, let's stick to debate and not bickering or the thread will be locked. I would advise caution on jumping to conclusions or hinting at conspiracies at all unless there is substantial evidence and the case builds. Notes that can be interpreted many ways aren't enough.
  14. I was wondering where this thread was, one of the shows that inspired me to get Disney+, one of the most inspired casting ensembles in recent memory. They somehow manage the keep the formula fresh each time, albeit I was less invested last time as the main trio kept being separated. Good to see Season 4 seems to be continuing the quality being high.

Ooft that's a heavy loss right before the top 10 </3 Feel like all my big favourites dropped out now, trying to remember where those last 60 points came from (deleted my voting PM annoyingly). Coldplay came about at the right time of my life that I can't really see anyone else topping them as my favourite band, their new material is largely inferior and sellout but they still manage to surprise me sometimes, and live they are pretty much unmatched.
  16. Woop woop And yes, that is the only eligible answer to this question in UK chart history with the word 'Orange' in (and only two more that made the top 40!).
  17. A rare instance where all my votes qualified, hooray *.* Herbilore wasn't too far off though, had some lovely instrumentation.
  18. Bre being wrong, we rejoice :cheer: never doubted myself for a minute I tell you xx Excellent qualifiers so far, gonna be a tough final by the looks of it.
  19. The tension of those videos!! (they look great though x) Some great ones through so far (if expected).

Guess if the voting started around this time, we'd have probably seen a different result for Oasis? Nice to see a climb nonetheless, mad for it x
  21. I have no idea how I got 100% predictions, this semi was a bloodbath and I'm not confident at all!
  22. Ugh, Pointless never seems to go my way, too random whether a popular or obscure answer ends up with lots of guesses. I literally could only find Billie and Lorde for the Charli question, a lot of the others just said remixes still to come! I guess I should've thought that way for the Chappel Roan question, but 'acquired' can be very easily interpreted as 'peaked' so I'm choosing to be bitter xx I'm hoping no one else goes for my answer to #7 as I was quite proud of it, although I'm sensing some may have had that idea.
  23. Best The Chipmunks and David Seville - The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late) and we're done x Bobby Darin - Mack The Knife Percy Faith - Theme From "A Summer Place" Ray Charles - Hit The Road Jack The Shirelles - Will You Love Me Tomorrow The Teddy Bears - To Know Him Is To Love Him There were some nice songs that were new to me (instrumentals particularly) but not quite enough to shift my existing favourites. Worst The Fleetwoods - Mr. Blue Frankie Avalon - Why Larry Verne - Mr. Custer The first two weren't awful, just dull. The last one on the other hand...
  24. It didn't chart that highly upon release because it was only their third single and they weren't quite at the stratospheric levels they were with Morning Glory yet, but it's definitely a classic and is frequently cited as one of their best songs. Would be absolutely here for it getting a new peak <3

Is there any other corner of the internet where S Club 7 can be between Radiohead and Fleetwood Mac? :kink: (no hate, they have a few tunes x), I did really think Radiohead may be a bit higher though, After not really getting them for years, OK Computer was a revelation, a stunning, timeless piece of work.
