  1. You can only enter the competition once... and I think you need a UK address/postcode I have entered but I'm sure my chances of winning are zero. There will probably be more serial competition winners there than fans

That was absolutely brilliant - I was on the edge of my seat. Apart from Scott Maslen most of the cast handled being live really well, which is ironic as he's the one who has done several live episodes of The Bill The BBC3 show was great too - loved George Lamb interviewing Bradley with the blood dripping down his face  And the cast of Corrie congratulating them and doing the Duff Duffs was a nice touch  I can't wait to see the viewing figures
  3. Paul McCartney has always been a hypocrite, if he wasn't he'd never have accepted a knighthood. WTF did they give him a knighthood ? He handed back his MBE Apparently Robbie wants to dance with Olly, so I'm hoping that's a sign that they've changed their minds about Angels. I agree with Scotty, Kids would be a great choice. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/xfactor/news/a...-olly-murs.html

I saw Will at Cardiff Arena on Wednesday - he was brilliant. Although I've been a fan since Pop Idol it was the first time for me seeing him live, and his voice was just note perfect. The only downside was the woman and her friend in the row behind me who were having a loud conversation all the way through - I'd had enough by the time he sang You and I and told them to shut up - quite politely I thought under the circumstances  It was a brilliant concert though - I'll definitely be seeing him live again..and I love the Will Christmas decorations
  5. UAN = Up all Night, Take That's last single. Norma was pointing out that the same thing happened with it, great sales, loads of airplay even yet, but not a very high chart position. As you know, I don't like YKM much either, but I do thing it was the obvious choice for a pre Christmas release. I don't think it matters much which track he releases next as I don't think any of them are obvious number 1's. Starstruck would be a good one to perform at The Brits though
  6. Robbie has done the different covers thing before, with Greatest Hits. As the different JLS covers are only available through HMV on line I don't actually think they'll make that much difference. Obviously I want Robbie to make number 1 in the UK, but how incredible for JLS to sell so many copies of their Debut album, and with a 100% UK fan base too. It would be interesting to know what percentage of Robbie's online sales went to overseas addresses. And it's not true to say that all JLS's fans are kids, they're not, any more than all Robbie's fans are women of a certain age :P
  7. Is Wetten Dass recorded? There are reports on Twitter that he's flown into Inverness for Mark Owen's wedding tomorrow.
  8. It's on the Official site now - cleverly worded, he'll "no longer be performing" http://www.robbiewilliams.com/news-blogs/l...pe-music-awards

Does anybody know if the Sunday show is pre recorded on the Saturday night, or is it really live on Sunday? If it's pre recorded I expect the results will leak out late on Saturday night like Strictly's used to :)
  10. I'm going :yahoo: I'm lucky in that a friend who has been a Robbie fan since the start managed to get tickets and asked me to go with her. I can't wait :cheer:
  11. Oh yes,,,,,I remember what your response to Rudebox the single was...... something beginning with "S" wasn't it Scotty??? Hopefully you won't feel the same way about Bodies
  12. It's Rule the world for me, with Patience, Shine and Greatest Day not far behind I like Up all night and IWFL as well though, especially IWFL live :cheer:
  13. I was disappointed that Take That mimed as well, but it was still a brilliant performance. The PSBs were definitely miming too, but they were still rubbish (imo) I was hoping that the reason for the miming was maybe Gary having a bad throat or something, but as he was singing at the warchild gig later, it can't have been that. Maybe it was just the stage set they were using, and there was also a 30 second time delay which may have made it look worse than it was. Please god they'll sing live on Ant & Dec

I really enjoyed Friday's and Monday's EastEnders and agree that Max and Tanya were both really good, but have I missed something, why did he phone home? The girls were supposed to be out all night with Bradley.. would he not have been better to have dialled 999 for help? Or Jack?? And Tanya needed a spade to dig him in, but dug him out with her bare hands  I think I'm thinking about it too much
  15. I voted for Blue... I've seen them live a few times and they were great, and of course, one of their biggest hits Guilty was written by our own Mr Barlow :cheer: I reckon they may be the next Boyband to successfully reform But next would be Boyzone. I'm going to see them in June, and it will be interesting to see if they can come anywhere close to Take That's standard (unlikely)
  16. I agree with you Norma, I don't think they have a cats chance of winning all four, they'll maybe get one if they are lucky. I hope we are wrong though
  17. From the Sunday People.....cool if true TAKE THAT, BOND EXCLUSIVE Boy Bond, sorry Band, in bid to make next 007 the me Take That are desperate to record the title track for the next James Bond film. The ageing former teen idols even used a televised New Year gig to try to persuade producers to sign them up. Insiders point out Gary Barlow, 35, Jason Orange, 37, Mark Owen, 35, and Howard Donald, 39, have movie form - they feature in last year's Robert de Niro hit Stardust. A source said: "All the guys are Bond fans and would love to record the title track. "Their song Rule The World is on the Stardust soundtrack and has been tipped for an Oscar, so they're a natural choice for this." Landing the Bond tune would net the reunited Manchester foursome a fortune - to add to the £17million they pocketed in 2007 alone. At their sell-out New Year show, they performed their No1 smash Relight My Fire against a dazzling backdrop of images from the Roger Moore 007 film Live And Let Die. The source said: "We're sure Bond bosses will have enjoyed it and it's only a matter of time before a deal is signed." The 22nd Bond film, starring Daniel Craig, is due for release in November. _________________

  20. It was a full concert, ITV only showed it live from 11.15, well actually the sugababes weren't live as there was an interval at the 02 at 11.15, so it was only live from Shine onwards They looked completely knackered though bless them
  21. I thought it was fantastic - I agree though it's a pity that we didn't see the whole concert, but they certainly chose the best songs to show imo I thought Jay was funny, wanting to start the countdown all the time....no not yet Jay And Gary was certainly on top form - who says he's not a showman, he was obviously loving it on stage last night. The highlights for me were same as on tour, Rule the World, Relight my fire and Could it be magic. It's a pity they didn't have the screen for Never Forget, but it looked brilliant to see everyone's hands in the air, and I agree Norma, it was great to see so many blokes there, singing along and enjoying it too. I hope this will be on a bonus dvd sometime, what a great way to see in the New Year
  22. This is funny - Take That ask a question on BFQOTY... Noel Fielding's impression of Markie is verging more towards Howard, but I love the way they do the Star Stories Taaake Thaaat! at the end ru6-ljb0oGg Hope it works
  23. I love that last picture Norma, he has a fantastic rear, he should win rear of the year really Although I have always been primarily a Robbie fan, I've always liked Gary too, and always hated the so called animosity between them in the past. I admit that I have been well and truly Barlowed this time around though, he looks amazing  Happy New Year everyone, and don't forget, the lads are live from the 02 tonight on ITV1 :yahoo:
  24. That's brilliant, well done. I hope everyone has a great Christmas - and don't forget to watch Take That live from the 02 on ITV 1 on New Years eve
  25. It's still showing as in stock on Play.com Norma, but obviously you won't get it until after Christmas if you order it now. I have a nice little CD shaped package under my tree which I hope is Beautiful World DeLuxe edition, or heads will roll :yahoo:
