I disagree that she was cast in Dreamgirls for her voice alone, her audition showed how well she could portray the character of Deena Jones, which she mimicked a lot of Diana Ross' mannerisms. And quite a few people have seen Cadillac Records, in which she was truly marvellous and showed a lot of acting promise. Meryl Streep highly praised her performance and Rolling Stone magazine reported on the Oscar buzz that was generated around her in the role. Why wouldn't the era continue? And I'd personally love that to be the next single, as I feel it's one of the best songs on the album. ^_^

Well "Party" is being released to Urban radio stations only, so everyone is presuming that she's going to be doing a dual release.

She's already filmed a video for it, and it'll probably be the next single, along with "Party", in the US.
