  1. "Break My Soul" also only had 20 hours of the tracking day, for reference. With it being so close to #1 in both the US and the UK, I think those extra few hours would've gotten it there. I'm intrigued to see if it grows today and I'm sure with its addition to the important New Music Friday playlists tomorrow, it'll continue to grow. A music video is reportedly coming soon, so that'll no doubt give it a further boost too.
  2. It's pretty weird that you keep spamming this... We got your trolling attempt the first time.
  3. "Break My Soul" debuted at #3 on UK Spotify with 550,357 streams.
  4. "Break My Soul" up to #5 on Apple Music.
  5. "Break My Soul" is now up to #6 on Apple Music.
  6. There's a difference between debut chart entry and debut single, though. We don't see anyone trying to argue that Austin Powers soundtrack single "Work it Out" is Beyoncé's debut single, despite it debuting (and going top 10) before "Crazy in Love".

Is "Sweet Melody" still at #9?

Do we have any idea how close Little Mix is to #5, sales wise?
  9. Surprised that 5SOS' cheating actually got them to #1 this week. At least it'll bomb back out of the chart again next week.

It's strange that you guys always seem to be bringing it back to Dua. I am not a Dua Lipa stan, I just think it's morally gross to be using the pandemic as a sales tactic here. But hey, if you're comfortable with it I guess that's all that matters.

Then donate. Don't use the NHS as a tactic to bolster your sales and snag the #1 position on the chart.

I think they mean the 30k prediction.

My comment had absolutely nothing to do with Dua Lipa or her album. It is solely to do with the 5SOS's tactic of using the pandemic to bolster sales. That's all. Do not fabricate a narrative, pretend that is what I'm talking about and act like a child. Nobody is interested.

More so using the pandemic to get people to purchase their album is off to me. That's fine if you disagree, I just think it's really gross and self serving. There are much better ways to get people to donate, or you know... use your own millions to donate to the health organisation as opposed to the people currently furloughed/losing their jobs. But each to their own.

It doesn't really matter whether they're doing it for the chart battle or not, the fact that they're trying to get people to buy their music at all by using the pandemic as an incentive is gross to me. It just feels really off.

That's actually really kinda gross that they're using the pandemic to bolster their sales...

It's been a while since I posted on this forum. I forgot that it's full of absolute assholes who have an irrational hate for Beyoncé. Thanks for reminding me guys.

This is the same Sam Bailey that's been repeatedly called out for being a self-entitled diva, right? Because people who have ever met Beyoncé flat out state the opposite to your assumptions. Sorry guys. ^_^ Nice try though.

Linda Perry who has never in her life worked with Beyoncé? Because everyone who has actually worked with Beyoncé speak very differently to how much she's involved with the creation of all her music. But sure, listen to the woman who's never worked with Beyoncé. ;)

Yet there is no proof to substantiate that lie. ^_^

No actually, she doesn't. No matter how desperately you wish it was true. And nobody is debating that. However this week, the reason the song is going to #1 is due to the duet version. Hell, if they were separated then the duet version would still be going to #1. There's no way whatsoever that she doesn't deserve a chart credit for it.

Now you're trying the "stealing writing credits" nonsense? Really? It's sweet that you've ignored the fact that Beyoncé always does features between albums, you're only paying attention now because these ones have been very successful. But maybe you shouldn't speak for her intentions, when you have absolutely no idea what they really are.

Nobody is saying she should be credited retroactively, but she absolutely should be credited for this week's chart. They have done it many times in the past and I'm sure will do it many times in the future. If it's that big of a deal, make the original and remix chart separately. Because it's doing well enough to be #1 on its own.
  24. Lovett™ posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
It is ridiculous, because this is the version that is going #1, not the original. If you deleted the original all together, the remix would still be going to #1. It's entirely unfair to not give her a chart credit for it, when for all intents and purposes, she's the reason it's getting there right now.

It'll be pretty shameful if they cut Beyoncé out of the credit for #1, especially considering the remix is the one that is slaughtering everyone on every front right now.
