For many, many years, Christmas Day Top of the Pops was a chance to see all the number ones of that year - great viewing on BBC1 at 2pm, I watched it religiously, in the days before MTV and all the music channels, it was brilliant. In the last few years, number 2 hits snook onto the program as well. But this year? What a joke. The Sugababes singing 'Santa Baby', and Diversity dancing to a medley of Michael Jackson songs. The biggest seller of the year, Poker Face', got a brief mention during a summary. Without doubt, the worst Christmas day TOTP, a major disappointment.

I bought the new Susan Boyle album today. It's actually quite good, great to listen to in the car for a long drive. The only thing I didn't like was 'Silent Night' at the end. Can't imagine enjoying that in 6 months time! But 9/10 overall.
