He didn't throw the jacket into the crowd! He threw his glasses, the stock (scarf) and his waistcoat. Not sure about the boots.

This is from my local paper - they were taking them down from the board in the foyer so I bought it for reduced price. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v317/GillP/CPress.jpg
  3. Question Time? What have I missed?
  4. But I haven't been on that forum before and it had to be moderated!
  5. I thought I would put a message on the Radio 2 boards about the Ken Bruce programme last week. I got the most ridiculous replies. Have a look if you can get on to it.
  6. Bought - Will Young - Let It Go Downloaded - Will Young - This is Who I Am
  7. What's the betting someone believes you?
  8. Thanks Martin! Great news that we are top of the list. :D
  9. It is in the album launch thread on D. I don't remember which page but Nemma's is on the first page and I replied to both her's and Bumbling's on several pages later. My Isle of Wight friend Philippa and SweetWilliamFan (Bev) asked the steward why they were filming and he told them about it. Phil texted Emma and she posted at 7.57! Very quick - Devoted detectives strike again!
  10. Did you see nemma's post on D saying that the Cadogan Hall concert was being filmed for the South Bank Show in early 2009. Bumbling added that they are filming the tour as well as lots of other bits and pieces. How about that? Brilliant, or what?
  11. Oh, yes, he sure was! He was on right at the beginning with Dave Berry being interviewed on the red carpet and comparing outfits, then a little bit where he was going away and Dave said he mustn't go on his own! Then he was talking about Estelle and saying she should win. Then he sang Changes to a great ovation! In the final section there was a short interview a fairly large clip of the Changes video. You need to do a serious amount of fast-forwarding!
  12. Devoted is down! :(
  13. I haven't listened either. It is only nine days after all. :)
  14. I've just read in next week's Radio Times about his appearance on GMTV so I have programmed in both that and LK Today just in case.
  15. Actually it was bj's screenie - I only airbrushed out the logo! The programme is repeated on Sunday 28 September on Channel 4! Channel 4
  16. I appears that For One Night Only is not on on 28th September but is replaced by X-Factor! :( I emailed ITV and they replied (very quickly) saying that only two shows were scheduled for September and the other one was provisionally scheduled for later in the year. I replied to him saying that people who were expecting to see Will on 28th would be very disappointed.
  17. Did I read that Keep On had the highest number of downloads at the time? If they had been added in then it would have been way over the million.
  18. I have watched it and recorded it. When I edit out the rubbish it will probably last about 20 minutes. The white stockings were :o
  19. I love Strictly! I have always like dancing and this programme is great as it show how people progress throughout the programme. It also brought us the lovely Ramps and the gorgeous Gethin! :D
  20. Did you hear Leave Right Now on the Strictly programme on Saturday? It was the music they played over the Kate Garroway leaving footage. Lovely to hear his voice!
  21. My favourite woman singer is Karen Carpenter. She had a beautiful voice and it was such a tragedy that she died so young.
  22. He was getting at me for saying I thought that female singers sounded the same. He wasn't as bad as some on there. A touch of jealousy because his wife likes Will seems to be evident. I didn't bother to listen as I am not enamoured of sopranos.
  23. The specs were a prop! Not his real ones. He threw them into the crowd right at the beginning.
  24. After a struggle I have managed to get the clip from Meridian TV onto You Send It. Here is the link. Bestival clip
  25. The local news said that the crowd dispersed even while she was "singing". It was less than half by the time she had finished after half an hour + 15 minutes faffing about trying to remember who her band were. She arrived at Robin Hill at 9pm but refused to get out of the car "until you clear up this effing mud"! I don't know what happened then but she eventually appeared at about 10.45 and was gone by 11.30. One lad I spoke to said he only stayed for two songs because she was dreadful. Out of time with the band and fiddling with her hair and her dress. There are rumours that her people and Amy herself did £5,000 worth of damage to the hotel they were staying at but this isn't confirmed. I feel that the organisers shouldn't book her as they are, in effect, ripping off the punters. By contrast, Will Young (obviously my favourite!) did his set in a different stage because the first one had sunk into the mud. He had to cut it short because of time constraints. He played to a huge crowd of enthusiastic people - singing along to the hits especially Leave Right Now. He was disappointed when his PA told him he had to wind up the set! PS I fell over - flat on my back!
