Daily Will Rant Thread 2
Click the name of the person you want to add to your ignore list (at the left of the message). A box will drop down and it says "Add *A* to your Buddy List, click that and another page appears. To the left of the screen there is another list of options. At the bottom there is a group called Miscellaneous and at the very bottom it says "Add *A* to your Ignore List. I think that is right, I will check to make sure. What we now have to do is make sure no-one quotes her messages.

Good idea - a couple of people need to be ignored on there. *A* in particular. I've done it - brilliant. Thanks for reminding me. I already have a certain tree-like person, one with just initials and another one on there!

I did think of that but he hasn't got anything up for sale at the moment so I think this is genuine.

We think so - either that or another one in disguise.

Bestival, Isle Of Wight. O/S UPDATE - 8/4/08
According to some other website Amy Winehouse only played for barely half and hour and was incoherent and abusing the crowds. Half the people had left by the time she finished.

Bestival, Isle Of Wight. O/S UPDATE - 8/4/08
Imagine if he sang straight through the songs without the waffle - it wouldn't be the same and he would get criticised for not interacting with the crowd. He is a past master at getting the crowd on his side. I had chats with various people - in the queue and while I was waiting for Philippa and co. A young man behind me said he met him in a club and he was lovely and so friendly. All the people I spoke to didn't have a bad word for him.

Bestival, Isle Of Wight. O/S UPDATE - 8/4/08
Well I am home - had my dinner and thought I would just let you know how we got on. I went to the Bestival at about 2.30, had a text from Val to say he was on the BBC Introducing Stage at 4.40. They ran out of wrist bands so we had to wait for a while. Found Philippa, Bev and Emma and trudged down to the bottom field, mainly on the concrete paths but we did have to go across a muddy bit. Guess what? I fell over! Flat on my back in the mud. I didn't hurt myself as it was like landing on a duvet. After wiping myself down we carried on to the field where the BBC stage was. It was quite big and there were various unrecognisable bands playing. Phil, Bev and Emma had a look round while I sat on a proper bench chatting to the people opposite me. Everyone was very friendly. At about 4.10 we slurped our way down to the stage and stood for a while by a wheelie bin which was OK because it gve us a clear view of the stage. However one of the girls noticed that there was a space near the barrier to the right. So we paddled out way down there and stood right up against the barrier. Excellent view. They took ages setting up and then the main man came on! Hooray! He looked delicious in his admiral's outfit. You have seen the pictures so I needn't describe the outfit. He was in fine voice - Changes, Your Game, Blame It On the Sun, the Joni Mitchell song (Help Me?) and Leave Right Now. I think that's all - I'm a bit bemused! He was unable to do another song because he took so much time larking about stripping off various items of clothing that he "lost song time". This is according to Faye who was right in front of me trying to attract his attention. Such a shame he couldn't have more time. As he was singing Leave Right Now the rain started again but we all stayed where we were, obviously, and then he was off. I decided to come home then and Phil, Emma and Bev walked me back up the hill (very steep) to the exit and the bus back to Newport. My trousers (waterproof) were muddy up to my waist, from the splashing. It was an experience I can tell you - I'm glad I did go.

The Bandstand was closed so we don't know whether he will play at all. How sad is that?

Bestival, Isle Of Wight. O/S UPDATE - 8/4/08
Weather has improved and the sun came out a little while ago! We saw a Will Young look alike in Newport but he was too short so don't think it was him!

Bestival, Isle Of Wight. O/S UPDATE - 8/4/08
What I meant was that it is fence off into a fan shaped area! Anyway, I have got a booklet which came with the local paper. Nice bit about Will in it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v317/GillP/Bestivalprog.jpg

Bestival, Isle Of Wight. O/S UPDATE - 8/4/08
The two men also said that the bandstand is in the middle of a field and you can see all round. People stand in a sort of fan shaped area at the font but there is not much actual stage front. Very muddy!

Will cheeky Amy Winehouse actually be there? Two men I spoke to who work at Robin Hill were dubious.

I am only going on the Saturday most likely. The weather has cheered up since this morning but it will be wet underfoot for a while I reckon.

I've put my Cadogan Hall tickets on eBay. I bought them in a fit of excitement, not thinking that I would be on holiday!

I am happy, happy, happy! I have been offered a Bestival ticket for less than half price! :cheer: I will only go on the Saturday. I only hope the weather improves because it is pouring at the moment. I also have a possible offer for my two Cadogan Hall tickets.

He/she.it is at it again! What amazes me is why people post on threads about people they dislike. When I met Will, unexpectedly, he was so charming and friendly. Lovely man!

Daily Will Rant Thread 2
Some stupid woman has posted on Will's thread on DS, crowing about the mess up with the "exclusive gig" and saying that Will doesn't like his fans and these gigs are always like that. That was before the new lot of tickets were released, just to his fans. She finished up with egg on her face.

OS update 22/08 - 26/08 - ALBUM LAUNCH
I bought two tickets! I will sell them when everything has settled down. I got them because I saw the link and thought it would be a good idea. Hope someone wants them!

OS update 22/08 - 26/08 - ALBUM LAUNCH
I reckon they ought to sell them through See Tickets which seems to be the best agency as far as I can gather. It is under the Really Useful Company banner - Andrew Lloyd Webber's company.

OS update 22/08 - 26/08 - ALBUM LAUNCH
I can't get on Devoted but I didn't try for tickets. I really think that it should be mentioned to Will somehow that we (the fans) are being short changed in the ticket buying department and that not many of the "loyal" fans got tickets.
