I have a major rant! I accidentally clicked on what I thought was a reply to an article I was reading but it was a link to a website which told me that I was in danger from Trojan horses and other nasties. It scanned the computer and told me I had 68 problems and they could solve it - just click "Remove". I tried to to that but they then asked for $60 for the removal. I called my computer man and he said that there weren't any Trojan horses and my computer was fine but the program had been embedded into my computer and he removed it for me. Some people are so nasty - just after my $60. I wonder how many others have been caught. The website I went to looked really authentic and seemed to be pukka. It was called xpantivirus - avoid it like the plague.

I haven't printed it off for myself! I have a boring calendar of Canada (nice pictures though).

You can still print it off Chrysalis. I am sure it is still on the website (Devoted).
  4. Yes there is - it is WILL YOUNG! :D
  5. I am sure they are. He probably said that he has been for three years running and they assumed he meant Bestival.
  6. This story about him being there for the last three years is a bit far from the truth. I would think that he would have been spotted if he had been there and there was nothing, absolutely nothing in the supplements which are published after the event. He told me he hadn't visited the Island before!
  7. Oh, yeah? I think it was Glastonbury that he has been to for the last three years.
  8. I hope everyone has a lovely time on Sunday. I will be thinking of you.
  9. Here is the link to the Telegraph article. Telegraph
  10. What a strange day I have had! Woke up to the Bestival news, phone calls here and there to try and find out where the tickets were sold (including the C Press who didn't know about him playing the concert). Then found out that the tickets were available but very expensive. Then out all day to visit my son and family with my other grandson - watching the boys playing on the Wii! Then back home to see that the gorgeous Gethin Jones is leaving Blue Peter in June :( as he has had loads of offers for different work and thinks it is the right time to leave. I hope the BBC realise what an asset he is. :)
  11. No day tickets available, only three-day ones at £139 each. I cannot justify it, even for Will! :(
  12. This is only about three miles away from me, the other side of Newport. :cheer: The only trouble is that all the tickets are sold out! However, I am going to investigate whether there are day tickets. :)
  13. Well done Suggy. I won't be going but I did last time so am not so desperate. Have a lovely time - we need reports!
  14. Just been watching Torchwood so that is one of the reasons why I haven't been on here. At least the lovely Ianto is still with us.
  15. I would have thought they get a fee - otherwise why do the festival goers have to pay such exorbitant prices?
  16. Now that is what I always thought would be a good part for Will. When it was mooted that it was to be remade as a film I suggested that. Just to add to the titillation, the Emcee (as the compere is called) finishes up naked in the stage show! In fact there is a lot of nudity in the show. :o  Thanks for the T In the Park report.
  17. They certainly do. That is how I got to see him at Ronnie Scott's! Not exactly a gift though as I paid for it and was glad to do so.

Some people's idea of "soon" is different to other's. Here on the Island they say "See you in a minute" when they actually mean "See you later"!
  19. I had hoped he'd given up. Silly boy! :(
  20. I was listening to Keep On in the car and when Save Yourself came on it really made me think about Rupert. :( I felt quite emotional.
  21. I am the same. I thought at first it was the proximity of the two songs but I think the speculation is probably correct.
  22. I saw Paul Jones and the Blues Band a few years ago when we were on holiday in Kent (Canterbury). It was a great show.
  23. I am a happy bunny today! I have managed to work out a way to copy from VCR to DVD! Phillipa suggested I should buy a switch box which I did and this morning I got it set up and did a little bit of recording. Brilliant! It has only taken since last week to work it out!
  24. Yes, you are right. I had a look on Google (The History Boys) and found him.
  25. Anyway, Will isn't even looking at him!
