The WY thread in Music on DS. That, or the James M vs James B thread!

Woodie is off on one again! Saying that the 40,000 at Proms in the Park didn't go just for Will. (As if!) BBC didn't bother to put it on the main channels, (they never do) and that Ronnie Scott's isn't prestigious! There has been a great reply!
  3. I have had a PM from Shubunkin on Dev and she is still trying to get her head round the whole evening. What she did say though is that she gave one of my calendars to Will's PA (Frances) who said that Will would get it that very evening but couldn't guarantee that he would hang it in his kitchen! She wanted me to know this before she posted her report.
  4. And remember the picture when he was at Party in the Park, sitting with Prince Charles, apparently with his tongue out, when we was actually licking his lips? I immediately thought the picture in the newspaper was printed the wrong way round, I didn't even think it was a different one.
  5. I wondered whether it will be recorded and used at a later date after the fourth album is released. Does anyone know if Jamie Cullum's set was released as a CD? Just answering my own post. I found this on Wikipedia!
  6. What I like about these reports is that the winners seem to be true Will fans. They might not post often but that doesn't make them less committed fans. Great reports.
  7. I have tried to put this on Wikipedia but it comes up incorrectly. :( I will try again later.

A video would be nice but not quite the same as a CD from Ronnie Scott's! :(
  9. But they didn't know how many people would want it. I could be an EP like at Killerton (someone suggested this on D) Better than nothing. Perhaps only on download from the O/S.

Have you ever tried using Mozilla Firefox? It is much quicker and easy to use. It is free too.
  11. And at the Academy of Arts yesterday!

I see our wooden friend is make himself known on the Leona thread in DS. He actually mentions various people with all their user names on there, here and Devoted
  13. I found that bit about him being on the wane! I soon put her right.
  14. Not much tomorrow but on Sunday I am going to see my daughter dance in a show for the first time since about 1988. She has gone back to her tap dancing which she always loved. She was a professional dancer and Red Coat when she was younger. Two years in Jersey, two pantos then Butlins and then Warners. It is only a dancing school show but her teacher (younger than her) says it shows that she has stage presence. Can't wait! :cheer:

She has just posted on the "Who's going" thread on D. :)
  16. I was Jamie Hartman from Ben's Brother who wrote All Time Love. I like him but he's not Will!

Bev is on holiday this week but she posted last week on Dev. My friend on the Island is in touch with her.

She might have an amazing voice and a fantastic album but the name of the single (Bleeding Love) puts me off immediately. :o
  19. The bar wasn't open when I went as I only went to one matinee. Thanks for the picture, now I know what it looks like.
  20. Well he would have been a jazz singer if he had gone to his audition on the right day!

I think my friend bought the extra ticket with me in mind so it isn't untoward! She only let me know this morning as she was so busy at work and couldn't get to me until today.

I have been offered a ticket by a kind person from D. I am really chuffed! :cheer: :funky: :yahoo:

When the fuss has died down I might email them and ask if this could be done for the many Will fans who were unlucky - that or a DVD! I couldn't even try as I was with my sister at Southampton Hospital waiting for her radiotherapy first session!

The box office opens at noon I believe. I won't be trying for this as I am going to Southampton with my sister as she is starting radiotherapy. What a palaver!
  25. Have you actually tried doing it? It says 3 hours (or whatever) at first but soon goes down and mine took about 40 minutes to burn to disc. Then I copy batches of five or so which take very little time. Even if it does take three hours, it is only once and then when you have the master copy you can make your copies from that.
