Of course - after all it's for Children in Need! But I didn't rush off - I got it about 11.30 - only a few left in HMV - and not many of Gareth's either. But of course I don't know how many were put out in the first place. If it were Will I would have been queuing from the night before (like they did for the IOW Festival tickets!) And another thing - I had a look at the Radio Times website and it says that the concert is on TV from 5.30 to 10.30 on Sunday 1 July. :yahoo: (Am I allowed to put that on the post?)

My sister has that recording (on vinyl). Very 1960s hippies! She (and I) both have the 1990s tape of it too which is called the original cast recording as well.

In my Woollies, Gareth was at No. 9! Lee at No. 1 and the Editors were about 8 I think.

When I saw your St George's flag under your name I assumed you were living in England. Confusing, isn't it?

Lee Mead's single is £2.99 in HMV and £2.97 in Sainsbury's. It is record of the week in HMV. The three finalists on Any Dream Will Do sing Close Every Door as well on the CD and it is magnificent. :cheer: I don't think there is any point in getting anxious about your particular favourite as Lee's single is a one off. The programme was extremely popular and he was a well-deserved winner with a fantastic voice and very appealing personality. A lot of people will be buying the single I don't doubt. I don't think, however, that it will stay in the charts for ages. I would just like to add that I cannot believe that people have never heard of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". Most schools have performed it at one time or another. Also the programme (and the winner) has appeared in practially every newspaper and television news programme over the past week or so.
  6. I think (and this is only my opinion) that Lee's song appeals to people who don't necessarily download. People who saw him on ADWD and voted for him. (Also he isn't camp - bear in mind you have to be a bit OTT if you are in musical theatre. He is actually quite a shy person. He said he won't be wearing the coat when he goes out! )
  7. All of Will Young's. :D
  8. I agree with you Bluebell. The cynics among you should realise that some people - in fact quite a lot of people - like Lee's voice (and the man himself). The song fits into the context of the musical. It is also the main song in Joseph and that is why he has recorded it. His first love is musical theatre so I don't think he is going to try and storm the charts or anything like that.
  9. Why is Will buying timber? Is he building something? Lovely picture though. :)
  10. Haven't you heard of Silver Surfers?
  11. :naughty:
  12. It only downloads to a PC according to the website. Anyway, as Marguerite says, he is a very popular winner of a very popular show. If he gets to No.1 good luck to him.
  13. You'd better get a new TV before will comes on next week!

  16. If I was I would be in the Guinness Book of Records!
  17. How strange - what has happened to us all? We need a good dose of Will!:D
  18. I take the Telegraph but haven't read it yet as I felt unwell this morning. The room was going round but I am much better now. And, no, I haven't got a hangover as I don't drink. If this is what it is like I'm glad I don't!
  19. I still have the review of that song which a Devotee put up just after it was released. Would anyone like me to post it on here?
