Me too! I have chickened out and removed the sentence about "avoiding like the plague" from the Elvis thread. And several other posts I have deleted. I might have known I would get stick for it but wanted to see how much. I don't think I have actually said anything derogatory about the singer but only that I dislike him and always have. Come back Will! :huh:

Well., I've been shot down! :huh: It is obvious that I am Gill on Devoted as I have the same banner! :D I genuinely thought that the Elvis impersonator thread was interesting - wish I hadn't posted now.

I wish he could have sung Summertime and BOTROAD without the stupid screaming. A concert of superb classics like those would be great. I always makes me smile to think that Gareth was originally going to sing BOTROAD! I read it in the Mirror a while before the Proms in the Park and thought it was rather ambitious.

I wonder whether it is a result of my "Elvis" post. In that thread there is mention of the fact that it is an open forum.

I am still waiting for my new car which was promised on 1 April! It is now 2 May and it has only just left the factory in Germany. It is amazing how much you rely on the car - Tom has got it this morning so I am on my legs!

The green tint is on the original picture - remember the up-lighting in Save Yourself on the summer tour?

It's Elvis I cannot stand. As I said on D, I even remember when I first heard Heartbreak Hotel and thought what an awful song. I am glad some of you agree with me I feel that I am on my own. One Devotee obviously replied to me as I expected but I have said my piece and that is that. Vernon is a bit of a berk but I just don't watch him, if I can help it.

I can make banners! Anyway back to Elvis. I have bitten the bullet and posted about this stupid show Vernon Kay is putting on about Elvis impersonators. I said I would avoid it like the plague but I then got answers from people saying - of course you have to avoid it as how can you improve on perfection! :o I then said that I couldn't stand him and explained that I have never like him from the first time I heard him. Now waiting for the flak! :ph34r:

So glad for you. It is such a worry, as I know. My husband has been told that he is OK apart from a little bit of trouble with his swallowing. Otherwise he is fine.

I have recently (like yesterday) downloaded a program called Picasa which helps you organise all your photos. It is free at www.picasa.google.com and only takes seconds to download. It automatically loaded all my photos from various sources in date order which is very useful. Consequently I have found several photos of will that I had forgotten about. I will put some of them on here. You can also edit the photos on there - some of them were crooked and there is a facility to straighten them which is a great help.

I bet he's got a couple of clothes pegs holding the suit tight at the back!

Like if I dared to criticise James Blunt or Elvis! :o :(
