In your opinion! I cannot stand the Judy Garland version as I do not like her - or the Wizard of Oz! Joe's is a similar version to Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's as mentioned previously.

I played the album in the car on the way to Ventnor (and back) today with two other people who absolutely loved it. They couldn't praise him enough. The only thing odd was the fact that the bonus track didn't play on my car radio/cd player! It is superb!

Loved his shoes - very stylish. Didn't he sing Something Stupid well - must has been difficult not to crack up!

Having said there were no backing singers, I should correct that statement - there is a choir on Va Pensiero and also on Nessun Dorma. The album is excellent and should do very well.

The pictures actually look as though they were taken in New York. Especially the one on the back of the booklet.

I have my sticky mitts on the album and must say it is superb. Joe's voice is so pure and clear and the production is of the highest quality with no over production and absolutely no auto-tuning or backing singers - just Joe!

I remember I posted a new thread on Devoted entitled "Ditch the straighteners, Will"! The very next day he appeared with the shaven head!

Claire has a lovely voice but her nerves spoiled her performances. Joe has a beautiful voice and manages to hold the nerves at bay. This makes all the difference - that and the fact that he is more well-known to a lot of the voting public - young girls! Appearing in this show has been just what he needed - he has a new contract with Decca and releases his second album, Classic on 22 August. I have heard some of it and think it is great.

True but this style is old-fashioned too.

I wish Will wouldhave his hair liike he did when he ran in Hyde Park all those years ago. I don't like this "do"!

Joe has been doing a radio tour this week and has been interviewed by the various radio stations. They have played two tracks so far - Dance With My Father (gorgeous) and Somewhere Over The Rainbow. This is a song I don't really like but this version is very good - in an upbeat style. I cannot remember the name of the original Hawaiian singer who did it like this first but it is the best way to sing this song.

The Sony building was for storage only and was stocked with independent labels' CDs. Horrible for the makers but Will's are OK.

I have to disagree with you Phil. The fire service are doing their best (as are the police and ambulance service) but they are seriously under-manned and have to go to the places with the most dangerous fires. Such as Croydon. They have brought in more than a thousand extra police from other counties. That's the last I am going to say about it. Don't give these people the "oxygen of publicity".
