Will's agent was there when I met him on 24 January. She was very nice and she sat next to NannyT who was mortified when she discovered who she had been raving on about Will to!

I reported the thread and it was closed within a minute! Somebody must have been watching when I reported it.

Some idiot has been vandalising Will's entry in Wikipedia with homophobic remarks. :( From the spelling I would think it was done by a teenager with very little brain! The entries have all reverted to the original. Then today someone put on that Will had said that he should win the Brit for best single (of course he should) and that he can easily beat Lily Allen! They put it as a new entry under the heading "Cockiness"! Seeing that he is in Manchester I doubt anyone would bother to trek up there to get his comments.

Well done Will. What a trouper! What experience for him being the "novice"!

She should pack the ciggies in - not good for asthmatics (or anyone else for that matter). :(

I wrote to Will and the rest of the cast of The Vortex. In my letter to Will I suggested that he should do a concert at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight. It is a lovely venue and us Islanders wouldn't have to travel for a change. Westlife were here last year and Ronan the year before that.

Just think only two weeks ago she was very reluctant to meet Will when I tried to take to see him! Now she almost has him landing on her lap. Brazen hussy! :D

The thing about critics is that they don't know any more than Joe Public as to what is the right way to put on a play. It is only the original author who actual knows what was intended, so the critics' opinions are not worth the paper they are written on. Apart, of course, when Will is praised!

It was one Devotee who started it by wondering if he was all right and then everyone got the bit between their teeth and worried it to death! I think it's back on track now. He was fine when I saw him and was more than pleased to sign my programme. Mind you I was the only one there so had more time than most people. Did you see that Will signed someone's envelope with tickets in it which he was going to put behind the box office! :D He'll sign anything!

I wasn't being cheeky when I said further south - I was talking about the South of England - not his jeans! :D

I wish I had a husband like yours. Mine wouldn't even consider going to the end of our road to see Will. :(

What was so unique about me meeting Will was that I was the only one there! I couldn't believe it. Lovely reports from everyone - keep them coming! :D

That is where I saw him. I came round from the other side near the Theatre Bar which was shut and suddenly came upon him. Having spoken to Diana previously it was quite easy to speak to Will as they were together. She said "Oh, Gill, here he is!" And from then on it was fine. :D

Those of you who frequent Devoted will know that I had a wonderful time in Manchester on Wednesday. All the travel arrangements were fine and I arrived at the REx to see Will and Diana having break and a deep conversation. Good start! I gave the security man the card I had made for Will and Rupert, and then had a bit of lunch. The play was stupendous and Will was mesmerising. I won't go into it here but suffice it say that I wish I was going again - but it isn't easy for me. After the play was over I decided to have a glass of orange and took it over to the foyer near where the cast go in and out (alongside the Theatre Bar, which was shut). I saw Sam Heughan (Tom Veryan) and had a chat with him for a while and said how much I enjoyed the play. I asked him what they had thought when Will was cast as Nicky. He said they were a bit sceptical at first but soon came round when they saw how good he was and what a lovely man. Very generous he said. After a while I saw Diana Hardcastle and spoke to her congratulating her on the play. She went to clasp my hand (ouch) and I explained what had happened at Will's Brighton concert. She sympathised and I asked her to sign my programme (Sam had already done so). I also asked if Will was coming out and she said he had a meeting with his management. But she took my programme in to him and he signed it "Lots of Love from Will xxx" and "Hope your hand is better xx" Five kisses! I then met up with NannyT (Janice) and she bought me a J2O. I said I would wander about to see if there were any more actors about to sign my programme. I walked right round the theatre and finished up at the bottom of the stairs by Door 4. Lo and behold, who should be sitting there but our William! He was talking to Diana and she said "Oh, Gill, here he is!" I thanked Will for signing the programme and then he said that he hadn't put my name on it which he proceeded to do. We chatted for quite a while about this and that - Dalmations, Isle of Wight, Carisbrooke Castle etc etc. He enquired about my hand and sympathised with me. He is a lovely, charming and beautiful man. Who smokes too much! I then left them and went back to Janice who was overwhelmed by it all. I took her to see Will and he signed her front row ticket and she had a chat with him. She was so chuffed. All in all a wonderful day, one which I will never forget.

Not a very nice one in the Telegraph but the Times gives it three stars.

Good thing it was on a Saturday so they had Sunday to recover!

I haven't looked at the Brit thread and don't intend to. I hate the Brits and always have.

Is this something to do with people going to the RE and hanging about?

Neil Sean has just said that the Brits are passe (sorry can't find an acute accent). In other words irrelevant! I must say I agree with him. I think they are dire, even when Will was on it. The big three are not on the Best Male - Robbie, Will and George! Nuff said.

That was CatLover who also did the meet and greet at Reigate! Her sister lives in Reigate and went in for a competition to meet Will. Her face when she came out was a picture! :D

I'm going on 24 January, sitting next to Panther (Susan) and her friend. Just as I did in Birmingham! I am going to the matinee and will fly up and back on the same day. Much cheaper and better than going to a bland hotel. Also my husband is not well so don't want to be away too long. He has had a mild stroke but is recovering well.
