I wonder if it something - a code or a symbol which cannot be in banners.
  2. Actually Joe was asked by ITV to do Popstar to Operastar and he would have been silly to have turned it down. It has done him no harm whatsoever. That Leon Jackson clip is very good - I always loved his voice. He seems to have got more confident which must be a good thing. However, this thread is about Joe McElderry's new album.
  3. I am glad you put "in my opinion". Lots of people don't. How about giving him a chance, poor lad? He was very badly served by Syco and now that he is signed with Decca/Universal, things might be looking up for him. In fact I feel they are at last. I don't think they are going for the singles chart - which is rubbish anyway - but are making him an album artist. Much better route. He is doing a radio tour soon and then a tour proper later on. No dates or venues yet.
  4. FM11, perhaps you didn't see anything about Popstar to Operastar which Joe won hands down with over 50% of the votes each week and over 77% in the final against Cheryl Baker (of Buck's Fizz fame). Fair enough - there are lots of singers I know nothing about. I have never heard Justin Bieber, rarely heard Lady Gaga etc etc. Anyway Joe has a great operatic voice - not just my opinion but that of Rolando Villazon who thinks he should train as an opera/classical singer.
  5. Joe's second album is due for release on 22 August (Same day as Will Young's! ) It is a mix of classic songs and also some classical arias. This is the track listing. Canto Della Terra She Was Beautiful (featuring Milos - classical guitarist) Over The Rainbow - I don't like this song. I Dreamed A Dream Time To Say Goodbye Il Mio Cuore Va (My Heart Will Go On) Hear My Prayer (Nessun Dorma) Solitaire Dance With My Father Va Pensiero To Where You Are Nessun Dorma (Original Italian Version) Here is the cover picture which makes him look much older. Not a bad thing though. Classic - Joe

The link to GG's video is further up the thread Phil. Very amateur - both the filming and the singer. Guitarist is OK though.

Hello everyone! Just looked at that GG video - what's he doing singing in a pizza parlour? :o Didn't Darius do that too?
  8. What doughnut advert?
  9. Well, that didn't take long. The new site is up and running! I have registered and I expect some of you have too.
  10. I saw that after I had made my suggestion. It is looking good if we have someone closely connected to the fans - even if he is a "boyfriend"! :D I only hope people don't start getting jumpy about a fan's bf doing it.
  11. But people are trying to ensure that it will continue in some form or other. People who have the skills will be able to start up a new "Devoted". After my suggestion was, quite rightly, turned down, (I suggested "Dedicated", which would shorten to "Ded") I wonder if "Devoted to Will Young" in full or shortened to DTWY would be appropriate. What do you think.
  12. Latest tweet is that he has a long over-nighter on the tour bus, then there is one which has a video but it won't load! I don't know why it is an overnighter though because it doesn't take that long to get out of Wales and onto the M4 and then London!
  13. They are on here too! On the Osborne House thread.
  14. Dev seems to be OK today. I got on with no problem, the first time for over a week. I posted the Osborne photos on the appropriate thread.
  15. I don't think so - but he might have done. There was a lot going on! He certainly commandeered the private beach! :D
  16. His new house is probably Sandringham itself!
  17. I'll keep you posted on our outing to the Mayflower in September. Although having seen Michael Ball as Marius, I am not holding my breath!
  18. There were 10,000 people at Osborne House and the venue was sold out. The following day they had the 80s gig with Banarama, ABC, Rick Astley et al and there were tickets still for sale on the evening. So Will is doing well despite rumours being circulated in other forums on here. Actually, I am going to see Les Mis on 2 September - with Gareth as Marius! I've heard he is quite good. ;)
  19. I believe you - one of them chucked her drink all over one of the Devotees!
  20. Here are the photos and article from yesterday's County Press. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v317/GillP/Cpress1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v317/GillP/Cpress2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v317/GillP/Cpress3-1.jpg
  21. Here is the Set List (from Devoted).
  22. Here is the two page spread in the County Press! Big, isn't it? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v317/GillP/SSA50735.jpg
  23. I am back now! I am delighted he is coming to the Island. I have let people know on the other sites that the best ferry to catch is the Red Funnel from Southampton to EAST COWES. Then it is only a few minutes on the bus to Osborne House. The buses run until after midnight and there are extra ferries on during Cowes Week.
  24. This news is in the Sun. Great isn't it? :D SB Awards

I asked what happens to them when they've taken them down and the supervisor said that they don't do it as it is another company who put the large posters up. They are still there. Bumbling saw them when she was on the Island and also wondered how to get them! :D
