I took this picture yesterday at my local Morrisons. The old lady doesn't look very interested! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v317/GillP/WillatMorrisons.jpg

Actually the bit when Will came on was not too bad. Will was lovely of course and they seemed to ask him senisble questions for a change. The singing was delightful, of course.

That's horrible. I know how painful a break can be after my adventures in Brighton on my way to see Will! Send my good wishes to her and I hope she recovers quickly. :)

This was the best version of Evergreen I have ever heard. Brilliant. Thanks for the screenies.
  5. I had an email at the weekend and the disc turned up this morning. It was a De Luxe copy.

The One Show people were good - if Adrian and Christine couldn't make the show, they could stand in - no-one would notice!
  7. I did read somewhere that the stupid law about licensing live gigs is being repealed if the venue holds less than 100 people. So hopefully clubs and pubs will be able to have musicians again playing live. Sting said that he was "appalled" with X-Factor!
  8. I haven't heard the song - only a little clip.

    Me neither! :(
  10. Hooray for the ignore button!
  11. I see that *Amanda* has been on DS again. The "Will Young" thread is now closed and a new thread "Will Young Appreciation" has appeared. :o
  12. Devoted is down again - Address Not Found this time!
  13. My grandson did too - A for science and graphics, three Bs - maths english and music, two Cs - art and business studies. But he only got an E for RE. He only took that because there was no course work!
  14. Although the story was harrowing, I thought Jonas Armstrong was great as Nick. He certainly is not a one-trick-pony.
  15. I was a member of Dotmusic and CoolClarity. Changed my name though. Dotmusic was very odd! This is much better.

I hope the furore that surrounded Ianto's demise means more work for Gareth David-Lloyd. He was great in Torchwood. I expect you know he is a blues/rock singer with a band called Blue Gillespie.

Looking more hopeful for a fourth series. How can they bring Ianto back - any ideas?

I have been re-watching all the episodes of Torchwood on my BT Vision box. Now up to episode 13 on the first series. I miss Ianto! :(
  19. Well he's not on until Sunday so he's got plenty of time - or a helicopter!
  20. Neil Sean can put that in his pipe and smoke it! :D
  21. I have bought the County Press and there are a couple of nice pieces about Will. I will scan and post the picture later. Following on from that, I spoke to my neighbour who was, until recently, a councillor. She said that there were thousands and thousands of people making their way to the festival on Saturday evening, on both sides of the river, just to see Will. She saw him and he was fantastic. Then I met an old friend I hadn't seen for ages. She went and she said that Will was easily the best there. Her daughter is a mad fan but doesn't know about the websites despite being on the Internet. She also said that Neil Young was dreadful and that the crowd had all but disappeared when he came on. Interesting, isn't it?
  22. I went to M&S this morning and met my daughter's friend/colleague. She went to see Will on Saturday and was absolutely "blown away" by him. She couldn't get over how good he was and what a lovely man too. She said that some of the acts appear to be doing you a favour by appearing whereas Will was really up for it and determined to give everyone a good time. I then went to WHSmith and some people were talking about it - I piped up and asked them what they thought of him. Again they said he was amazing and so good with the crowd. These were two married couples - ordinary blokes who just were great fans - and their wives, who also like Will. None of these people were in the "Will bubble" and I think it is great to hear. I got the standard reply from ITV.com - they are passing my message on to senior management.
  23. Did you see the little interview with Fearne Cotton before the song? Bric a Brac shop? Sailor's uniform? He is a nutter!
  24. I see the usual suspects have surfaced again on DS! Why do they do it?
  25. I got my wish for Bournemouth. On the raised seat behind the flat floor - much better view.
