I am happy because I got to see Gethin win the Strictly tour on Friday evening and at last lift the glitter ball! He was brilliant and he and Flavia got 40 for their waltz and 39 for the salsa. He gave me a wave and thumbs up when I waved the Welsh flag I had printed off! :cheer:

I didn't mind T&D being shown while Will sang - it is their show and I really like them. They did at least show him more than they show the singers on SCD!

I was out in Southampton to see West Side Story. It was our Golden Wedding and also the 50th anniversary of West Side Story in the UK. It was excellent and the leading man (Tony) had a superb voice.

Wasn't it Paul Weller or somebody like that?

When you read praise like that it puts into perspective all the invective we read on some forums about Will. Those people have no idea how he is well regarded by the people that really matter.

They sometimes announce people quite late on so don't give up yet. I never watch The Brits. I have always disliked the sycophantic claptrap and now I hate it and wish it would go away.
