^ That's been posted already, I think, and they didn't say anything new in this. It was a pointless interview.

Never say never. But I can believe that. She's a perfectionist. Even when there were rumours about 1.0 reuniting in October, they said Siobhan was causing problems over which producer to use because she felt they were too commercial & generic-sounding.

She may have an alternate sound, but it doesn't mean it'll be plastered all over a group album. Same with Mutya's soul music and Keisha's R&B stuff that she's doing. Look at Destiny's Child - Michelle Williams was doing gospel when they went on a break before 'Destiny Fulfilled'.

A list of reasons: 1. Keisha and Mutya have built relationships with producers, artists, etc within the industry. 2. Each girls vocal ability has improved a lot over the last 10 years. 3. Different tastes to when they were 14. 4. Siobhan's writing has improved drastically 5. They are the most critically acclaimed line-up. 6. They have the whole world interested in their story. I could go on. Also - to the guy who said 4.0 are being called a cover band. Well, I can see why considering two of their members are singing songs that they had no part of. I just hope they don't do any from the 'One Touch' era, lol.

Well Mariah has dressed that way all her life, and Leona is only recently trying to be sexy due to the poor sales of her album. Before that, she wore those grand diva dresses.

I agree to an extent. When there isn't much talent there in the first place, sexy is the way to go. However, there have been artists in recent years (Adele, Amy Winehouse) that have let the music speak for itself. Sugababes shouldn't have to do what groups like Girls Aloud, Saturdays or Pussycat Dolls do when they can sing well. I think ifna group like 1.0 came out now, they'd still have a good chance of having success. The industry (and music consumers) is so fickle, and I think they'd be welcomed just because of how different they are & the vocal and musical talent that sits within the group.

Yup. I find 'Sweet 7' boring. It's generic and doesn't offer anything new. At least Siobhan had the guts to be risky & try new things. Whether that was a success is for another topic (though in my opinion, it was).

I think all of the line-ups sing well. However, I believe 1.0 had the best vocalists & harmony. I never said 1.0 didn't have assistance in writing. However, for ANY artist to be writing on their first album is rare - let alone three 14 year old girls writing on the MAJORITY of the album. 4.0 (and 3.0...and 2.0 to an extent) rely on a sexy image, dancing and headlines to do well commercially. Which is weird, because they can sing. With 1.0, the singing came first and everything else after. In recent years, it's been the opposite way round, sadly. 1.0 WERE successful. They gained respect by critics, had four top 40 singles, toured worldwide, nominated for awards, etc. They didn't do as well COMMERCIALLY as they are now because of the type of music they were doing.

I like that line-up best because there were no gimmicks. They didn't have to dress like sluts to sell music, they didn't have to manipulate their vocals to sound good and they didn't have to rely on professional song-writers for a hit. Those little girls came out by themselves wearing jeans and sang their little hearts out. They were edgy and had a little something about them which seperated them from every other girl group. I also like the type of music they were doing during that line-up. Whether their songs flopped or not (and I really don't believe "New Year" & "Run For Cover" are flops) is irrelevant. I'd listen to an album FULL of "flops" if it meant the music was great quality. As for Siobhan being boring - well, that's your opinion. I mean, maybe SHE is. Who knows? She doesn't live her life in the media so no one really knows what she's like as a person. As for her music, I'd disagree.

Kate Nash - 2nd Studio Album [19.04.10]
The video sucks. What's with the crappy budget? She made her label a lot of money with her first album. The least they could have done was dug a little deeper and made an amazing video for this amazing song. It reminds me of something Scooch would shoot. And I prefer Kate when she's dressed down...jeans & t-shirt, messy hair, no make-up, etc. Her look on her very first performance of "Foundations" on Jools Holland suited her really well.

I don't know about Keisha, but I can't see Siobhan caring that much. I mean, obviously she cares somewhat because her name is on the paper. I bet it was just to shut Mutya up though. What does she get out of it? If there's no reunion happening, does that mean she would just get more royalties if the girls won this case?

Have they met Jay-Z yet? I wonder what he'll make of all this, lol.

I don't. I am not putting anything past these girls from now on, lol.- Sugababes Lawsuit Thread
There might have been an agreement where as long as there's at least one original member in the group, they can carry on using the name. No one really knows anything at this point.- Sugababes Lawsuit Thread
Haha, yeah. He'd probably use it as a coaster mat or something.- Sugababes Lawsuit Thread
Haha. Bless her.- Sugababes Lawsuit Thread
Lmao. They would have Siobhan go in there dressed as a cleaner and she'd slip her albums on the chairmans desk with a note saying "Let me know what you think". But I do love Siobhan. It's all in jest.- Sugababes Lawsuit Thread
Yeah, I didn't like the "Freak Like Me" performance either. Nothing against 4.0, because I think they can sing well on some level. I guess it's because I'm used to hearing the Sugababes sing on "FLM". But yeah, their performance was awful.- Sugababes Lawsuit Thread
Yes. Amelle is organising revenge, Jade is stood there with a blank expression and Heidi is crying in a dark corner. Meanwhile, Mutya's up all night with blue-prints to Universal Studios, Keisha's the brains behind it all and Siobhan hasn't a clue what's going on.- Sugababes Lawsuit Thread
Mutya would unplug their mics beforehand.- Sugababes Lawsuit Thread
I say "It's Like That" by Run DMC. I wanna see them all free-style dancing and giving side-eyes to one another. I can imagine Siobhan standing there like "WTF".- Sugababes Lawsuit Thread
They couldn't release anything from that era, could they? It belongs to Universal. I mean, they could perform it at gigs and stuff. They could even record it and put it on their Myspace, I think. As long as they don't release any of the 2.0 + 3.0 stuff they're fine.- Sugababes Lawsuit Thread
They would be side-eyeing eachother and trying to out-sing one another. It would be car-crash TV, lol.- Sugababes Lawsuit Thread
I'm jumping the gun here, but how weird would it be seeing Siobhan sing "Push the Button", "About You Now", etc?! Haha. They could get away with that, too, providing they don't release it. - Sugababes Lawsuit Thread
